The Laylax EG Hard Gear Set is compatible with any AEG with a version 2 or version 3 gearbox and includes a hardened steel spur gear, sector gear and bevel gear. This gearset is a standard ratio set (18:1), intended to provide a great compromise between high speed and high torque, allowing you to take your build in either direction and still benefit from reinforced gears!

Description
For those working on a build which pushes the limits, you will require some decent gears! Introducing the EG Hard Gear Set from Laylax, a standard ratio gearset constructed from hardened steel. The set includes a spur gear, sector gear, and bevel gear which are all precisely machined for perfect meshing and smooth, reliable performance. Laylax, also known as "Prometheus" or "First Factory" has been a household name in the area of AEG upgrade parts for over a decade now, and many experienced techs rely on Laylax parts to keep their high performance build running in the long term.
These gears are tuned to an 18:1 ratio, which means for every 18 revolutions of your motor the gearbox will complete one full cycle. The benefit of using standard ratio gears is that you can make either a DMR or a high rate of fire CQB beast without wholly committing to one or another, meaning you can adapt your build to the scenario which suits, and without overstressing the gearbox by running it considerably beyond its design parameters.
With an AEG setup using a programmable MOSFET and quick change spring system, you can run a DMR one day, and use the same gun as a high rate of fire BB hose the next, provided you have gears that can handle it. This Laylax set certainly can, thanks to its hardened steel construction and ultra precise machining!

Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
