If you feel the need for speed, the EG Hard Gear Set 13:1 Ratio for Version 2/3 Gearbox from Laylax will give you just that! The renowned Laylax/Prometheus EG Hard Gear series boasts over a decade of service, crafted with precision through Japanese machining, heat treatment, and forging techniques that adhere to the highest standards. This meticulous manufacturing ensures a notably quieter gear mesh sound, even under higher FPS and fire rate conditions.
These are 13:1 high-speed gears, improving rate of fire and trigger response by cycling the gearbox once every 13 motor revolutions as opposed to the standard once per 18 revolutions. This means you can boost rate of fire without upgrading your motor, though like any other replacement gearsets, these will require expertise to install. If you already upgraded your motor, wiring and added a MOSFET and you still want more speed, this gearset will do the trick.

Introducing the EG Hard Gear Set from Laylax, a 13:1 high-speed ratio gearset constructed from hardened steel. The set includes a spur gear, sector gear, and bevel gear which are all precisely machined for perfect meshing and smooth, reliable performance.
Laylax, also known as "Prometheus" or "First Factory" has been a household name in the area of AEG upgrade parts for over a decade now, and many experienced techs rely on Laylax parts to keep their high-performance build running in the long term.
These gears are tuned to a 13:1 ratio, which means for every 13 revolutions of your motor the gearbox will complete one full cycle. This means your rate of fire should leap up when compared to an 18:1 standard ratio set, giving you incredible speed with the added confidence that these gears are made from the best steel around.

Parts Fitting
Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
