WADSN V300 Scout Tactical Flashlight

The WADSN V300 is WADSN's entry-level Scout tactical flashlight in the shortened Scout light format, being optimised for short barrelled weapons wherein keeping the rifle manoeuvrable is a top priority. The V300 boasts the same stiflingly bright CREE LED as the other WADSN scout style lights, an integrated Picatinny rail mount and pressure switch, with the option of enhancing the light further with aftermarket switches and mounts. The V300 is based on the real steel SF M300 Scout and has the appropriate looks for a Milsim build, and the functionality to suit any Airsoft setup.

The Scout was a considerable advance over legacy tactical flashlights when it was initially released, and maintains its advantage to this day thanks to its compact design and modularity. The WADSN example appropriately matches the real Scout light in form, making it a great choice for pairing with a PEQ15 and a dual switch on a Milsim M4 like the MK18 MOD.1. The V300 is ready to mount straight out of the box thanks to its integrated 20mm Picatinny rail mount, but can also be set up on the WADSN Offset light mount if you prefer your flashlight to be forward mounted, or your weapon has a very short front end.

The WADSN V300 makes use of an ultra-bright CREE-XPG-R5 LED, providing an impressive 340-lumen output, which is great in the role of disorienting the enemy team as you make entry. Despite its shortened overall length, the V300 has the same output as the V600, meaning you don't have to sacrifice performance if you want a shorter and lighter tactical flashlight. The included pressure switch provides momentary-on functionality but can be exchanged for aftermarket WADSN tail caps if you prefer an alternative switch configuration. The included tail cap accepts both the included pressure switch and any aftermarket pressure switch from WADSN, including dual switches and multifunction switches.

The V300 requires 1x CR123a 3v cell to power it (not included). To install the battery you will need to unscrew the bezel (front end) of the flashlight, after which the cell can be inserted. The WADSN V300 can use either standard or rechargeable cells which can save you a few quid if you are a CQB player who makes use of white light to distract the enemy and navigate through the dark corridors of the CQB site. The use of a single CR123A does mean the battery life is lessened on the V300 when compared to the V600, though this is a fair trade-off on CQB rifles for the reduced weight and bulk.
