S&T ST870 Pump Action Single Shot Shotgun

Simple, but classy, this M870 is an Airsoft gun for someone with skill who values the experience of the game. This M870 is a single-shot, spring-powered shotgun, which is for those of you that appreciate the joy of aiming and picking people off without sights - who needs 'em right?

The pump, like the stock, is construction from real wood for an incredibly satisfying feel, coupled with the sharp and gratifying spring-loaded pump action to complete a shotgun that not only looks, but feels like the real thing. The pump is steady against the gun without being loose like some other Airsoft shotguns out there and, while it is spring powered and therefore takes a little bit of oomph for cock, this is very easily done and rewards you with a worthwhile 'snap' with every shot.

Just in front of the pump is a sling loop for use with the single-point sling of your choosing, if you wish to carry this round in the field, possibly for use as a secondary off-hand weapon or simply to make life a little easier.

As we arrive at the body of the shotgun, we can see that S&T has graciously engraved the alloy constructed right-hand side with their name and logo to spice up the look and give the shotty a bit of style, with the logo being the same tone that complements the mock ejection port. Other engravings include the left-hand model M870 engraving and the serial number displayed on the underside of the body, as well as the calibre of the shotgun being displayed on the barrel for that little bit of extra realism.

This variant is magazine fed from the bottom of the shotgun using the included 22 round magazine. An obvious advantage of it being mag fed is that you can stay in the field and shoot for a lot longer than you would from comparative shell loaded variants.

Being the long variant, this shotgun sports a full stock, built from that wonderful real wood that is expected from a shotgun of this pedigree, but the quality doesn't end there! The stock features snakeskin style engravings on the side, which not only look sweet and complement the style of the weapon, but feel incredibly satisfying to handle and provide additional friction for gripping the shotgun with or without gloves.

The stock features a thick and shock absorbing rubberised butt plate, which is incredibly comfortable when held against your person. The rear of the plate features a stippled texture with an engraving of S&Ts logo displayed in a somewhat low key fashion.
