If you're in search of an affordable alternative to the RunCam 4K so you can film your hits in-game, the RunCam Scope Camera SE has your name on it! A similar concept to the original RunCam, the SE model mounts to your platform via a standard 30mm scope ring for 20mm rails, giving you ultimate flexibility in how you configure your primary.
Able to record at 1080P resolution at either 30 or 60 fps (frames per second), the Scope Cam SE can handle SD cards up to 512GB capacity, though RunCam recommends a card of at least U3 write speed. The set includes a USB type C cable for both charging the included 18650 battery and transferring data along with what is known as the "Flashback Cable", a rat tail style pressure switch designed to record 15-second segments of footage with a quick tap. Like the RunCam 4K, the SE can even record the 5-15 seconds before you press the switch, just like a police body cam!
The Scope Cam SE also offers real-time footage previews via Wifi, connecting to the RunCam app on any mobile device or tablet. If you're already rocking a helmet camera and want to get some clear footage of your kills downrange with the iconic hit marker, the RunCam Scope Cam SE is the way to go!

If you want to preserve your Airsoft kills on film for your YouTube channel or for training purposes, the RunCam Scope Camera SE is the most affordable way to do it! Designed as a cost-effective alternative to the full-fat RunCam ScopeCam 4K, the Scope Camera SE offers 60fps or 30fps recording at 1080P resolution and records to Micro SD cards of up to 512GB capacity (U3 card recommended).
Amongst its many features, the Scope Camera SE is able to connect to the RunCam mobile app via Wifi, providing the ability to preview your footage in real-time. On the housing, we are treated to two activation buttons, with one button on the side and one on the rear. Pressing either button once will commence recording and confirm with a vibration and pressing either again will cease, also indicated with a vibration.
The set also includes the RunCam "Flashback Cable", allowing you to start and stop recording remotely without reaching for one of the two onboard activation buttons, ideal for those with longer platforms and filming in a dynamic environment. If the heavens open, the show can go on thanks to the Scope Camera SE's IP64 waterproof rating, ensuring the device is able to survive a mid-skirmish downpour!
The Scope Camera SE mounts to your primary via the included 30mm low-profile scope ring for 20mm Picatinny rails, allowing you to place it on the side, top or bottom. This means you don't have to re-jig the placement of your other accessories, simply fit the Scope Camera SE in wherever you've got the space.
Like the RunCam Helmet Camera, the Scope Camera SE is powered by a rechargeable and removable 18650 battery, meaning for long-duration recordings you can keep a spare battery handy just in case. If your battery runs low, the Scope Camera SE will vibrate 5 times every 30 seconds as a subtle hint that you need to recharge it.
As a compliment to a helmet-mounted action camera to provide a closer-in view of the action, the RunCam Scope Camera SE is the ideal affordable alternative to the proven RunCam Scope Cam 2 4K. While headcam footage is thrilling to watch, it is all the better when the hit itself is caught on film!
