Ghillie gear from Novritsch...
Description
If you prefer a sniper rifle which follows modern real steel sniper rifle convention, the Novritsch SSG10 A2 is a fine choice. Based on the Novritsch SSG10 A1, a highly upgraded VSR-10 platform, the A2 variant adds a highly functional and positively luxurious enhanced stock/chassis. The A2 chassis boasts a wide hex-textured handguard section for enhanced handling and grip, a more vertical pistol grip for improved comfort and a multi-functional stock with an adjustable cheekpiece, butt plate and monopod mount.
Just like the original, you will find a whole host of internal upgrades inside this beast, including a CNC machined steel trigger assembly, CNC steel cylinder, CNC aluminium piston, 60-degree Maple Leaf HOP-up rubber and 6.01mm tightbore inner barrel. The resulting build is absolutely incredible for an out of the box sniper rifle, and the way to go if you want perfect performance without upgrading a standard VSR/BAR-10 sniper rifle yourself.
Starting at the tip of the 21-inch outer barrel we can find a muzzle cap which conceals female threading beneath. As it comes, the SSG10 A2 does not have the ability to mount a tracer unit or suppressor but aftermarket adapters can be purchased if you want a more sneaky look. The barrel itself is spiral-fluted, a Novritsch hallmark which marks the gun out as one of his. The spiral fluting is well-finished and makes the SSG10 A2 stand out amongst standard, smooth-barreled sniper rifles.
Moving down, we come to the chassis of the SSG10 A2 which is what separates it from the basic SSG10 A1 and the lightweight skeletonised SSG10 A3. This chassis is patterned after modern tactical sniper rifle stocks such as the McMillan A4 stock found on the US Marine Corps M40A3 sniper rifle but with some unique Novritsch twists.
The front of the chassis is wider than the average VSR stock and fills the hand out nicely, with additional hexagonal rubber textured sections for flawless grip in any weather conditions, with or without gloves. If you prefer a more slim handguard or need somewhere to mount your laser, fear not! Simply peel off the rubberised sections to reveal M-LOK negative space attachment slots. These slots can be used to add laser-aiming modules, tactical flashlights or two-piece M-LOK bipods, giving you far more accessory options than the SSG10 A1 and rivalling the SSG10 A3 in customisation options.
Also at the front of the chassis is a Harris-style bipod/sling lug, allowing you to add a sling swivel or Harris-style bipod, depending on whether you value mobility or stability in-game. If you want both, fear not! Either side of the chassis is equipped with steel QD sling sockets so you can add QD sling swivels and use the Harris lug for your bipod.
The magazine well is also at the front, as it is on all VSR platform sniper rifles, and has a simple push button magazine release located inside the magwell at the front. The SSG10 A2 is compatible with VSR-10 platform magazines from various brands, but we recommend sticking with the Novritsch Transparent SSG10 magazines for the best fit.
The trigger guard is enlarged and squared off, giving you plenty of space for full-finger gloves, and the trigger is a flat design, fitting in well with other Novritsch platforms and providing a smooth and positive trigger pull with a very short travel length. This is a great feature for a sniper rifle to have; a heavy trigger pull can make the difference between landing a hit and sending BBs off into space.
The receiver of the SSG10 A2 is constructed from alloy, complete with the appropriate Novritsch markings laser engraved on the left side. The top of the receiver sports a 20mm Picatinny rail, allowing for a riflescope to be mounted so you can make the most of the impressive accuracy and range the SSG10 A2 is capable of. The rail is weight-reduced in the centre, removing unnecessary material to contribute to the lightweight and agile feel of the rifle.
The bolt handle is extended and enlarged but set at an angle which prevents it from interfering with an optical sight when mounted. The knob of the bolt handle features deep texturing to promote a positive grip and keep the bolt controllable and easily cocked even in wet weather or when you are caked in woodland mud. The bolt pull is remarkably smooth for a rifle with this level of muzzle energy which is down to the stainless steel cylinder and well designed trigger parts, giving you the best of low friction components with strength where needed.
Moving rearwards, we come to the stock where the SSG10 A2's McMillan lineage is evident. The stock features an adjustable cheek rest which can be raised and lowered from the right side using a thumb screw. Loosening the thumb screw allows you to lift the cheek rest up, and tightening it down again will lock the cheek rest in place. The grip of the SSG10 A2 chassis is much more vertical in angle than a standard sniper rifle-style grip, giving you a more comfortable wrist position when shooting in the prone position.
The SSG10 A2 also has an adjustable butt plate which can be retracted or extended via removable spacers to suit different arm lengths. To access the butt plate adjustment, simply unscrew the Allen bolts on the butt plate, remove or add spacers to your liking then replace the butt plate followed by the bolts.
Naturally, the primary strength of the SSG10 platform is in its internals, boasting some of the best parts out there hand-picked by Novritsch himself. The cylinder is constructed from stainless steel for flawless air seal, strength and low friction, the piston is machined from aluminium using CNC technology, the trigger parts are a mix of aircraft-grade aluminium and steel and the spring guide is also steel, guaranteeing the strength needed to handle high power springs.
The 6.01mm tightbore inner barrel is also stabilised with a pair of barrel spacers, an essential mod for a sniper rifle if accuracy is a priority, and it should be! The HOP-up unit has a steel HOP-up arm for the perfect application of pressure to the pre-installed Maple Leaf 60-degree Autobot bucking for absolutely flawless accuracy down range.
Those who appreciate a comfortable ergonomic stock/chassis paired with a thoroughly upgraded action will love the SSG10 A2. Ideal for snipers who value ergonomics, the A2 brings the same precise performance as the original A1 and the lightweight A3 in a lovely enhanced stock which rivals the best in the business!

Special Instructions
The SSG10 A2 requires assembly. Assembly instructions can be found through the QR code user manual supplied with the set. When assembling the SSG10 A2 it is very important that the action screws are not installed in the wrong places. The shortest screw should be at the front, and the longest at the rear. Any damage caused by installing the longest screw in the wrong place is not covered by our warranty.
When installing the action of the SSG10 platform into the stock, it is important that the receiver is seated properly and that all screws are tightened down. Failure to do so can cause damage to the magazine catch and feeding mechanism. If you're struggling with installation, we recommend contacting us so we can talk you through it.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
