- Fully Licenced by FN Herstal
- Krytac in-line MOSFET pre-installed
- Alpine Limited Edition - New colour & new upper receiver!
Following in the footsteps of the Krytac Kriss Vector Alpine Edition we are proud to introduce the Krytac EMG P90; Alpine Special Edition. This unique P90 variant has an eye-catching new look and brings plenty of modern functionality to the table as a bonus thanks to its redesigned modular upper receiver/optics bridge assembly. As with the original Krytac P90, this variant boasts full licencing from FN Herstal via Cybergun, but unlike the original, this P90 takes a walk on the wild side when it comes to external design!
Inside we are treated to the best the P90 platform has to offer, just like the previous P90 from Krytac. The trigger has been enhanced and now has a super short trigger travel with full adjustability, the upgraded internals are kept in check by the Krytac Nautilus MOSFET and a 30K RPM high torque motor delivers the power needed to provide a super snappy trigger response and a remarkable rate of fire. If you like your P90s minty fresh on the outside and a cold killer on the inside, this one should suit you!

Description
The original version of the Krytac EMG P90 was one of the most impressive Airsoft releases of 2022, and we are very pleased to welcome the Krytac EMG FN P90 SMG AEG; Alpine Limited Edition to the Krytac P90 line. Following in the footsteps of the Krytac Kriss Vector Alpine, the P90 Alpine has a clean and fresh look thanks to its white high density polymer furniture, contrasting with the black components for a truly unique looking SMG.
As with the original version, the Krytac P90 Alpine boasts a plethora of improvements over other P90 platforms, including pre-upgraded internals, an enhanced HOP-up unit with audible and tactile clicks when adjusted, a short stroked trigger with full travel adjustability and Krytac's standard in-line Nautilus MOSFET and 6.05mm tightbore inner barrel. If you like the idea of a P90 which looks like nothing else on the market and shoots as good as it looks, this is one to watch!
Starting at the tip of the outer barrel we can find 14mm CCW male threads which will allow any of the most common types of threaded accessories to be added, including of course, the included muzzle brake style flash hider. The flash hider is supplied separately from the gun itself, snug in its own cut-out inside the box and comes with both a rubber O-ring and grub screw to ensure it is oriented correctly and can be mounted securely. The flash hider is a tad unconventional for a P90 platform but looks fantastic when mounted, though it can be swapped out for a tracer unit or suppressor should the mission require it.
The upper receiver assembly is constructed entirely from Aluminium, increasing strength whilst keeping the weight low to ensure the P90 remains manoeuvrable and easily pointed, as one would expect from a short bullpup design. On the left side of the upper receiver assembly, we can find a beautifully engraved Krytac logo with the unique serial number just in front.
The Alpine edition of the Krytac P90 not only has its frosty fresh new colour scheme; it has also been fitted with a new low-profile modular upper receiver which allows you to set the receiver up in several different ways. As it comes out of the box, the receiver is fitted with a long 20mm Picatinny rail and the usual P90 "optics bridge/magazine well guide" which helps guide the magazine in during a reload. Included in the box is a short 20mm Picatinny rail which can be installed in place of the long top rail, and the mag well guide can be removed entirely for a more dynamic, low-profile look.
The charging handles can be found just below the upper assembly, and are mirrored on either side. Unlike most other P90s on the market, the charging handles on the Krytac P90 Alpine work to actuate the HOP-up door, which can be found within the thumbhole of the stock. This solves one of the major complaints about the original P90 AEG design; that the HOP-up was very hard to access. The HOP-up door can also be opened by hand and is helpfully enlarged to allow those of us with sausage fingers or those who wear gloves to adjust the HOP easily.
The lower body of the Krytac P90 is another feature which sets this P90 apart from the more affordable options. The material used for this part is a high-density fibre-reinforced polymer. This gives the Krytac P90 a smooth, textured surface, and an overall feeling of quality. The lower body shows no signs of flex, creaks or squeaking, and feels surprisingly strong given its low weight.
Like the real P90, the lower body is a two-part clamshell design, held together with steel Allen bolts. There are more FN Herstal markings to be found here; within the designation window on the left side, we can see "Fabrique Nationale Herstal BELGIUM" in large text, with "Licensed by FN Herstal" discretely moulded below.
As mentioned, the HOP-up of this P90 is similar to more conventional P90 designs, though it can now be accessed by pulling the charging handles to the rear, or by opening the HOP window manually, which can be found within the thumbhole grip. The HOP-up unit is of the standard P90 configuration but with an enhanced rotary dial, providing audible and tactile clicks which allow the HOP-up to be set more accurately and prevent the setting from being lost under the vibration of firing.
Just like the real thing, the Krytac EMG P90 has a rather unconventional setup as far as the grip and handguard go, providing an integrated vertical grip with hand stop for the support hand, and an angled thumbhole grip for the firing hand. While it is a big part of what gives the P90 its iconic silhouette, this configuration also helps keep the shooter's hands close together.. This has the advantage of making the P90 easier to instinct aim; steering this PDW between targets is a lot closer to just pointing your fingers at the target, making it easy to shoot accurately and minimizing the chances of oversteering and going past your target.
The angled thumbhole grip, coupled with the top feeding arrangement allows the P90 user to get very very low when in the prone position, giving the user the advantage of cover where there normally is none. Being able to reload without rotating your primary when lying down can also be an invaluable advantage, and one the enemy will not expect! The magazine release is perfectly positioned to facilitate this; it can be found at the top of the receiver, just in front of the shooter's face, and is easily accessible from either side.
The fire selector lever for the P90 can be found below the trigger and is a rotary design which is accessible from either side, adding to the P90's already exceptional ergonomics, and pairing well with its other ambidextrous features. The safe position, denoted by a white "S" provides a trigger lock, the "1" position, denoting semi-automatic provides a rapid single shot, and the fully-automatic position, denoted with an "A" provides a two-stage trigger; with a short press firing a single shot, and a long extended press firing fully automatic. Visually identifying these positions is aided through the coloured markings, with both the dangerous modes marked in red, and safe being marked in white.
Krytac has also carried out some much-needed enhancements to the original P90 trigger design which has the reputation of being long and mushy when compared with other triggers.
At the rear of the P90 we can find a rubber butt plate, which can be removed by pulling it straight down, providing access to the P90's battery compartment, and its internals. Inside you will see a Deans battery connector to which you mount your chosen battery. We recommend a 7.4V 1500mAh LiPo block battery when using the P90 Alpine in its default configuration. If you install the included battery extension spacer you can use even bigger batteries!
The battery extension spacer is ideal for when you want a seriously whopping battery, but can also be useful for those with longer arms who struggle to get a comfortable grip when using the ultra-compact P90 platform. The usual solution to this would be to add a rubber butt plate extension, but thankfully Krytac provides the battery extension spacer to solve two issues with a single part. Also present is a sling slot in the lower body at the toe of the stock, providing an appropriate mounting solution for a P90 sling or the addition of a P90 QD sling adaptor.
One of the many features which mark this P90 out as the ultimate AEG P90 is its "stop firing on empty" feature. The Krytac P90 is compatible with standard Tokyo Marui style P90 magazines, but when using the enhanced Krytac Magazine the P90 can sense when its ammunition supply has been expended, cutting off the trigger to let you know its reload time. This can be extremely functional in game and will prevent those moments where you aren't sure if you are shooting BBs at the enemy or just harmless air.
Functions such as this elevate the Krytac P90 above the average functional AEG to the level of the Systema PTW, Tokyo Marui NGRS and Scorpion EVO which are amongst the few advanced AEGs which include the "stop firing on empty" function. Krytac's enhanced P90 magazine also features a 50-round limiter, allowing you to select between a massive 200-round capacity or 50 rounds for a realistic scenario, or if you like a challenge!
Internally the Krytac P90 really outshines the rest, and the same is true for the Alpine Edition. The Krytac gearbox which powers this beast boasts a famous Krytac Nautilus in-line MOSFET, 8mm ball bearing bushings, steel gears, and a quick change spring system. The quick change spring system allows you to tune the AEG to perfectly meet the limits of your local skirmish site with ease in a matter of just a few minutes.
Improvements Krytac has made to the standard P90 AEG design, dating all the way back to the first Tokyo Marui P90 include an updated trigger system, an enlarged HOP window which can also be revealed by pulling the charging handles, and the ability to adjust the motor height without removing the gearbox.
The new trigger system features a light and quick-to-reset trigger, which has very little creep yet retains the original P90's dual-stage functionality; with a short press providing a single shot, and an extended press firing full auto. The trigger can also be adjusted, allowing the user to tune it for a very short press, or a long press if desired.
On the boring end of things, the Krytac P90 features the standard staples of a truly modern AEG, an automotive fuse and a deans battery connector, reducing resistance over the legacy standard fuse/mini-Tamiya connector combination and ensuring you get the most out of this high-performance setup. To ensure that the Krytac P90 can handle stronger springs the Gearbox has had its cylinder window corners radiused to reduce the chances that fatigue on the shell will cause damage. The gears are of 18:1 ratio and the motor is a 30K RPM high torque example, providing efficient smooth running and a killer rate of fire.
If you were unsure about the original Krytac P90 due to its tight adherence to the design of the real thing, the P90 Alpine should be a bit more your speed. With an eye-catching new look and a modernised, modular receiver setup, this P90 combines looks and performance in an exciting new way which you simply cannot imitate with more affordable alternatives!

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
