Description
This Drum Magazine is designed as a spare/replacement magazine for the G&G branded GMG42 Support Gun, and is an absolute must-have for any gunner worth their salt. After all, a Machine Gun Nest is only useful as long as it can stay in operation. The magazine is powered by a 7.4v LiPo battery which comes included with the unit, and has a purpose-built cutout for it to be stored away inside. This battery should be recharged using a LiPo charger and treated with all the care and attention that your other batteries receive.
To load the magazine turn the carry handle so that it is folded flat, and allows you to remove the retaining clip which holds the hinged-rear part of the magazine in place. Once this is removed the rear cover will hinge open and allow access to the internals. Here you will find the On/Off toggle switch, LiPo battery and connection (as well as a cable extension piece). This is also where you load the BBs by turning the spring loaded lever all the way counter clockwise until it locks in place, opening the fill window cover and pouring BBs into place. You then press the middle button which release the spring loaded lever and forces BBs towards the feed tube. Once the mag is turned on, it will cycle BBs through the Bowden Spring until the tube is full at which point it will stop winding again, reactivated as you fire and empty the feed tube.
If you own a G&G GMG42 Support Gun and need to furiously hold the front line, then you're only useful as long as you have magazines to feed your Trigger finger. Grab some spare drums today and treat your MG Nest to the ammo upgrade it so desperately needs.
