If you're into aggressively styled pistols based on proven internals, the Delta Armory P05 Tiger EU17 Gas Blowback Pistol is what you need! This full metal EU17-based GBB pistol is supplied in a wave-foam-equipped polymer hard case, boasting an imitation hand-stippled frame and super menacing yet functional sawtooth slide serrations, giving it a significant handling advantage over similarly priced EU17 pistols along with aggressive, custom styling. Starting at the front we have a matt black alloy outer barrel with a 12mm CCW female thread at the tip, allowing tracer units, suppressors and other muzzle devices to be added with a thread adapter. If you want to mount a suppressor or tracer, we recommend looking for as short and lightweight a suppressor as you can find to keep the cyclic rate high and gas efficiency optimal!

At the top of the aggressive serrated slide, we can find our front and rear sights taking the form of the classic white dot combat sights. The sights are easy and intuitive to align, ideal for those who prefer simple and familiar but functional sights. Between the sights, we have flawlessly engraved linear slide serrations covering the front and rear of the slide on each side, with weight-reduction recesses between. This provides superb traction, ideal for maintaining proper control over the pistol in wet weather conditions, not to mention adding significantly to the customised look of the P05.

The slide makes use of a fully sealed design and is based on the real steel ZEV SOCOM slide; high-end aftermarket real steel slide enhanced for combat applications. The benefit of a sealed slide over a ported slide is its invulnerability to dirt and debris ingress, making maintenance easier and enhancing reliability. This comes at the small sacrifice of a slightly heavier slide which will slightly reduce gas efficiency compared to the ported P01 or P02, though the P05 will have a bit more recoil. If you're a woodland warrior that ain't afraid of going belly down in the dirt, the P05 suits this role perfectly.

On the right side of the slide, we can see the mock ejection port, through which we get a glimpse of the outer barrel, adding visual interest with its engraved Delta Armory crest on top. Your unique serial number is just below the chamber on the right side, ideal for theft prevention.

Moving to the frame, we can find a 20mm Picatinny pistol rail on the dust cover, allowing pistol lights, lasers and other 20mm Picatinny accessories to be mounted. On the rail itself, we can see the serial number plate, which is finished in silver, just like the real thing. This plate doubles as a trigger lock safety, primarily for transportation, and can be pushed backwards to engage, or forwards to release.

To the rear of the frame rail, we find the trigger guard, which in classic EU series style is shaped to aid the use of a "European grip" shooting style, with checkering on the front face for added grip. Within the trigger guard, we find the P05's two-stage trigger (where else?). This trigger works similarly to the real pistol, and cannot be pressed if the separate centre section is not also pressed. This serves to reduce the chances of an accidental discharge and means unless your finger is on the trigger, the pistol will not fire.

Above the trigger, we can see a small catch which is mirrored on either side of the pistol. This is the disassembly catch and can be used to field strip the P05 for maintenance. To remove the slide of the pistol, simply remove the magazine, cock the slide so the hammer is back, pull down the disassembly catches on either side and push the slide forward to remove it from the frame.

With the slide removed, you can now access the P05's adjustable HOP-up unit, which can be used to apply backspin to your BBs, extending their range. The dial can be turned to apply additional HOP-up effect and can be tuned to your chosen BB weight to extend the effective range of the pistol.

The magazine release can be found on the pistol grip, on the left side, sitting comfortably beneath the shooter's thumb for fast access and a fast reload. The mag release is textured for additional grip, ensuring you never mess up your reloads. This mag release mimics the real steel Gen.3 mag release, often favoured over the larger Gen.4 and Gen.5 due to reduced risk of accidentally dropping your mag when attempting a fast draw.

The grip of the pistol has been treated to yet more customised styling, making it a great match for the stylish Hexagonal serrations of the slide. This comes in the form of imitation hand stippling, positively gluing the pistol to your hands and eliminating the possibility of accidentally launching your pistol across the site when attempting a fast draw. Don't laugh, it happens! A recognisable feature found on real-world custom builds, grip stippling is very challenging and risky to carry out at home; thankfully, Delta Armory has done it for you flawlessly!

Additional stipple texture is present on the bottom of the trigger guard to provide more grip for your support hand and each side of the frame features a stippled finger index point, ideal for safe handling in any weather conditions, with or without gloves. A stippled grip makes all the difference when it comes to handling which is why it's such a popular choice in the real steel tactical and concealed carry communities in the U.S!
