Being a free-floated design means this handguard doesn't come into contact with the outer barrel, meaning no negative effects on accuracy regardless of any force applied. The HEX handguard also includes the correct barrel nut to mount it, pre-installed inside the handguard and constructed from aluminium.
As with most M4/AR-15 handguards, you'll need an M4/AR-15 barrel nut wrench to install the HEX but it should fit most M4/AR-15 receivers on the market, AEG or GBB. The Delta Armory CNC Aluminium HEX M-LOK Handguard for M4/AR-15 is a uniquely styled free-floated handguard, boasting hexagonal vents between the attachment interfaces for slick modern styling and significantly reduced overall weight. At the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, we are treated to M-LOK negative space attachment slots, ready for M-LOK accessories or 20mm Picatinny rail adapters for M-LOK. If you choose to run the HEX handguard slick, you'll find it very comfortable to hold and slim enough to facilitate
Running along the top, we are equipped with a full-length 20mm Picatinny rail, providing extra space for PEQ laser aiming modules, tactical flashlights or whatever other tactical doo-dads you need to complete your mission. At the front and rear on each side, we have QD sling sockets built-in, ready for QD sling swivels to be added. The front end of the HEX handguard also features aggressive LVOA-like cuts, adding an intimidating aesthetic to this sleek and functional handguard.
Being a free-floated design, the HEX handguard doesn't come into contact with your outer barrel along its entire length, meaning force applied to the handguard while sweeping rapidly between targets doesn't affect your long-range accuracy. To install the HEX, you'll need an M4/AR-15 barrel nut wrench but the barrel nut itself is included, pre-installed inside the handguard and constructed from aluminium.
