While the Delta Armory 3-9x40EG Illuminated Rifle Scope w/ Scope Rings is optimised for sniper rifles and DMRs, it can be mounted on any Airsoft platform with a 20mm Picatinny top rail, ideal for long range engagements with its 3-9 x adjustable zoom. We recommend using 3x for taking the shot and the higher magnification levels for spotting and target identification to avoid tunnel vision and maintain maximum situational awareness. 

The 3-9x40EG also offers illuminated reticle functionality in either green or red with 5 brightness settings for each via the dial on the top of the "eyebell" at the rear. Red is great for making your reticle stand out in a green woodland environment and green excels in low-light scenarios. The reticle itself is the "mildot" type, offering multiple stadia lines on each axis of the crosshair so you can compensate on the fly for windage, range and moving targets. 

Adjustments are applied via a pair of capped turrets, one on top and one on the right side. To apply adjustments you'll need to unscrew the protective turret caps, under which you will find dials which can be adjusted either by hand or more easily using a coin or flathead screwdriver. 

The turret on the top controls elevation, moving the reticle up and down and the turret on the right side controls left-to-right reticle adjustment, also known as windage. Once you're zeroed in, replace the caps to prevent mid-skirmish bumps and scrapes from messing with your zero and to keep dust and debris out of the delicate internals. 

Included in the box is a pair of 25mm/1-inch scope rings for 20mm Picatinny rails, meaning you can mount the 3-9x40EG scope straight away on any Airsoft rifle with a 20mm Picatinny top rail. If you need help mounting your scope, check out our guide and you'll have your sights set perfectly.
