CYMA CM.517 M4 Combat Machine

A replica of one of the most recognisable weapons platforms in use today, the legendary M4A1. The CM.517 M4 Combat Machine is constructed with a tough but extremely lightweight polymer receiver, stock, buffer tube, handguard and sights, with an alloy barrel and internals.

At the very front of the gun is a polymer flash hider, adding to the militant style of the rifle, being attached to the barrel via 14mm counter clockwise thread, should you want to swap it out for a different variant, or maybe add a suppressor or tracer unit. Whatever you're style, you've got that option!

The front sight features a triangular design with sling adaptor in line with the real M4A1, with a high profile, allowing for ease of aiming in that your head won't need to be as close to the rifle as with other sight layouts, letting you speedily pick off those longer range targets with ease. The removable rear sight can be adjusted for windage / elevation depending on the skirmish at hand or weather conditions.

Moving along to the barrel we come to the Quad Rail 20mm RIS / RAS handguard / rail system enabling a multitude of attachment such as grips, torches, lasers and sights, again giving you a vast variety of playstyle options as big as your imagination, as well as a full length, topside 20mm Rail for attaching larger sights and scopes at the rear of the rail.

The body of the rifle is constructed from sturdy, dense polymer and features dummy bolt catch to replicate the real thing. The fire select is for right handed use, easily switching modes with the thumb, with the mag release on the right hand size of the gun easily accessed with the index finger.

The classic style M4 STANAGo magazine is a 300rnd high cap magazine, easily wound from the bottom of the mag to keep you shooting full auto for long periods of time.

By pulling back the bolt catch, the internal Hop-up unit is revealed, adjusted by turning the gear, giving you the option to set the BB spin, adjusting for windage, elevation and range.

The stock of the CM.517 features a Six Point adjustment system, allowing you to adjust the length of pull between 70cm - 80cm, for a more comfortable shoulder weld, depending on your size. The butt plate of the stock is made from rubber, providing a slip free surface for additional grip to help cope with wet weather conditions.

As this rifle is rear wired, to access the battery connector simply pull the adjuster tab on the stock down and slide the stock off to reveal the buffer tube, and Tamiya connector. A wider range of batteries can be used, such as crane stock batteries or Li-Po which fit down the buffer tube. We recommend 8.4v NiMh Crane Stock Battery or 7.4V 1300mAh 15C LiPo Stick Battery for this rifle.

The tightbore barrel is a good addition in that it allows for greater accuracy and range, able to hit those far away targets than other M4's missing this feature.

Special Instructions

Please note, the buffer tube sling plate on the CM.517 is constructed from polymer and we do not recommend using it as it may not be up to the task of supporting the weight of the AEG, especially with a single-point sling. We recommend using the sling slots on the stock and pairing them with the front sling point on the front sight/gas block to mount a two-point sling. 

Recommended Battery

For this rifle we recommend a 7.4v LiPo with Tamiya connector in stick or crane stock configuration.
