ASG CZ P-10C CO2 GBB Pistol

If you're sick and tired of all the 'Capas and EU series sidearms and are seeking something new, the ASG CZ P-10C CO2 GBB Pistol is one to watch! This full metal GBB pistol from Action Sport Games boasts official licencing from CZ firearms, which of course, means gorgeous realistic trademarks across the design and the inclusion of all of the most cutting-edge features of the real steel P-10C. These include an ambidextrous slide lock/release, interchangeable back straps, forward slide serrations and compatibility with the soon-to-be-released ASG Optic Plate for the P-10C.

When it comes to shooting, the P-10C is very impressive indeed, with a speedy slide cyclic rate, monstrous recoil and the ear-ringing muzzle report one might expect from a GBB pistol powered by 12g CO2 bulbs. The CO2 power source should also give the P-10C above-average cold weather and rapid-fire performance, meaning when green gas pistols are done for the winter, the P-10C still does its job. If you seek a sidearm which doesn't make onlookers yawn, the ASG CZ P-10C CO2 GBB Pistol will raise an eyebrow when seen and drop jaws when fired!

Starting at the front, we can see detailed mock rifling at the tip of the outer barrel, giving your unfortunate foes a realistic view before their walk back to respawn. This unfortunately means the barrel is not threaded, but stay tuned for potential future releases of aftermarket outer barrels with threads if you plan to mount a tracer or suppressor. The iron sights are right where we would expect, on the top of the slide, taking the form of white dot open iron sights which are easy to acquire and a low profile design, intended to reduce snagging.

The slide is a perfect match for the real steel P-10C, sporting the recognisable CZ angles present on its predecessor, the CZ P-09. Serrations are present at the front and rear, giving you several slide manipulation options and plenty of traction, whatever the weather conditions. Flawlessly engraved trademarks are present on the left side of the slide, reading "CZ P-10 C 9x19" with a CZ Firearms logo just in front.

The chamber area of the slide is equally detailed, hosting a mock extractor on the right side of the slide and 9x19 markings on the chamber, just like the real deal. With the slide locked open, you can access the adjustable HOP-up of the P-10C, allowing you to tune the backspin applied to your projectiles and set the pistol up for different ammo weights, seeking the flattest possible trajectory. The adjuster is on the left side of the outer barrel and accessible through the chamber, making adjustments on the field far easier than conventional designs which require field stripping to adjust.

When it comes time to maintain the P-10C, you'll be happy to learn the field stripping process is exactly the same as a Glock or EU series GBB pistol; simply remove the mag, rack the slide and pull the two tabs on each side of the frame down, after which the slide can be pushed forward and off the frame. The internals also look quite similar to an EU series, though we cannot confirm compatibility currently.

Moving down to the frame, we can take note of the 20mm Picatinny frame rail at the front, allowing you to mount a tactical flashlight or laser aiming module, as is modern sidearm convention. The rail has a single slot at the front to secure your accessories, ideally placed for X300-style pistol lights and other similar designs. In the centre of the rail, you'll find the trigger lock safety, well-hidden to keep the externals as close to 1:1 as possible.

Pushing the safety plate rearwards will lock the trigger, revealing a white dot at the front. When the pistol is ready to fire, a red dot will appear at the rear of the plate. This safety works similarly to the hidden safeties in EU series pistols, allowing you to secure the trigger for transport and storage and keep those who shouldn't be playing with the P-10C safe in case they somehow get their hands on it!

Next up, we reach the trigger guard which boasts a recurved front face to provide extra purchase for your support hand when shooting with modern gripping styles. The trigger guard is nice and slim, allowing you to get a high grip to control the beastly recoil of the P-10C during rapid fire. The magazine release is present where the trigger guard meets the grip on the left side, taking the form of a push button release with a textured surface and low profile design, ensuring your mag doesn't go flying if you touch the release on the draw!

The grip itself is a fantastic design, with ergonomic rounded corners and aggressive texturing on the sides, rear and front. Each side boasts a CZ Firearms logo roundel moulded in, and the back strap is removable and interchangeable with either of the two extra back straps provided in the box. To switch the back strap and make the P-10C fit your hands like a glove, simply punch out the pin at the base of the grip and install your choice of back strap. Each back strap also includes a lanyard loop, allowing you to fit a retention lanyard so your P-10C never strays too far from your side and gets lost in the woods!

The slide lock/release catch is enlarged and ambidextrous, equipped with linear serrations to provide flawless gripping qualities, even in wet conditions. Its placement is practically perfect; well out of the way of being knocked by your thumb accidentally but well within reach when it comes time to reload. This is one of our favourite aspects of the P-10C design, the frame profile is even raised just below the slide lock to ensure any gear snags or sub-optimal shooting doctrine don't interfere with this essential control.
