Whether you want to accept it or not, a Polymer Green Gas Pistol always works better than an Alloy one, and that is one of the reasons why this Pistol is such a winner in our eyes. It is based on the EU Series Platform so that Magazines will always be widely available (and you won't need extra magazines if you already own an EU Series), and this also makes it compatible with a wide range of accessories, such as Stock Adapters and Drum Magazines. The other major benefit of this Platform is its' Ambidextrous nature. The Slide Release is present on both sides of the Pistol, and the Magazine Release can easily be swapped over to better suit a Left Handed Player.

The AAP-01 is constructed from a very heavy duty Polymer that feels great in the hands, and brings the Pistol to a total loaded weight of ~0.6kg. The Pistol Grip has an ergonomic design, and again, closely replicates the shape and feel of the EU-Series. So much so, that the Backstraps and Stock Adapters of the EU-Series will work with this Pistol. The Outer Barrel has a fluted design that looks incredible, and also features a 14mm CCW Thread underneath the Thread Protector at the end, allowing you to install Suppressors and Tracer Units. A set of Light Enhancing Ironsights are installed on the Pistol out of the box, which will capture light and make them easier to see in darker environments. The Frame features a Trigger Lock Safety which can be pushed through to block the Trigger, and has a red outline so that you can easily see when it is not engaged. The Slide and Frame both feature Threaded Slots to accept Action Army 20mm Rails, made specifically for this Pistol. This allows you to take your customisation to another level and really make this Sidearm your own.

The AAP-01 Assassin is very reminiscent of classic varmint Pistols, and requires the Cylinder at the rear of the Slide to be pulled back to 'cock/charge' the Gun. When the 'Slide/Cylinder' is locked to the rear, you can look on the underside and access the Fire Selector, which can be switched between Semi and Full Auto. The Full Auto function yields around 950rpm, which essentially makes it a pocket-sized MP9. To remove the Slide you only need to push the large button on the rear of the Frame, and the Slide Assembly will lift off the frame. From here you can make adjustments to the Hop Unit to apply backspin to your BBs, and theoretically improve range and consistency, when paired with the right BB weight and settings.

Special Instructions

Please ensure you have at least some HOP-up applied when using the Pistol, otherwise the BB will fall out the barrel when you cycle it.

Our latest batch of AAP-01 pistols appears to have the HOP-up set to maximum from the factory. If you encounter feeding issues, try adjusting the HOP-up and this may cure it.
