Description

This Airsoft electric gun from CYMA is a modern take on the iconic and well-known AK platform.

The CM.028A is a fine replica of the world famous and well supported AK47 platform; If you like AK's and are looking for somethi8ng with more up-to-date functionality, this rifle has got you covered.

Keeping to the style of the original the front of the barrel features a fixed sight working in tandem with the rear tangent open sight, keeping a good amount peripheral vision when aiming at those longer distance targets. The barrel, gas chamber and top cover are constructed from sturdy alloy, with the handguard built from lightweight polymer, as is the pistol grip, body and stock, while offering some more modern features and is coloured in slick tactical black. Being of lightweight polymer construction, this rifle is perfect for running and gunning from objective to objective.

The CM.028A is tactical in more than just name, as the handguard sports upper and lower 20mm RIS/RAS rails, allowing you to attach a plethora of sights, lasers, torchers, suppressors and tracer units etc. Whatever your imagination can come up with to fit with this gun, you can probably make it real!

There's no issues in carrying the AK around as the rifle is fitted with two sling attachments on the left hand side of the body and barrel, allowing you to attach a range of slings depending on your style. Also available to customise is the 14m thread at the front of the barrel, allowing you to attach a huge range of flash hiders, suppressors or tracer units.

Included in the package is a high capacity alloy magazine, which holds an impressive 525 BB's, easily reloaded by winding the wheel at the bottom of the mag, letting you keep the enemy at bay for longer.

The CM.028A features an ergonomic pistol grip and the fire controls are very easy to use, just like the real one, easily reached with the middle finger, moving the selector from safe to semi and full auto.

The rifle is rear wired, meaning that the battery compartment is located in the rear of the stock, easily accessed by the quick release button on the butt plate. This reveals a mini Tamiya connector, the most common AEG connector type. We recommend an8.4V 1600mAh Ni-MH Block Battery, although the Tamiya connector will also accept LiPo batteries and potentially larger size Ni-MH or LiPo batteries as the storage compartment is quite large.

In short, the CM.028A is an budget friendly Airsoft rifle that is incredibly versatile and reliable, which is can be used in either close, mid or long range combat thanks to CYMA's reliable hop up unit or can kick some ass in CQB due to it's incredible weight saving features and ease of handling. A great starter gun with an iconic look for those of you who want to get into Airsoft skirmishing with an sturdy bit of kit.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
