As to be expected the UMAREX H&K G3A3 Gas Blowback Replica holds true to it's real steel counter part in every way you could imagine, from the traditional HK G3 receiver to the classic H&K charging handle, ( which we know you just wanna slap ) The G3 truly is an amazing Airsoft replica gun that deserves the upmost appreciation.

Towards the front end of the gun you've got the 7.62x51 style muzzle brake / flash hider, which is secured on via a proprietary QD system, following on you've got the classic H&K ring and pin front iron sight which when used with the rear rotary iron sight provides a clear and obstruction free sight picture for a fast but simple target acquisition. The Olive Drab / Khaki handguard is constructed from a reinforced polymer which is moulded perfectly to the shape of the receiver which allows for a full hand grip along the front end which in turn provides excellent positioning manipulation and handling. Along the handguard you'll find several ports which on the real 7.62 variant provide assistance in preventing overheating.

Just above the handguard you'll find possibly what H&K are most famous for in the "Tacticool Market"  - That being the H&K Lock and release style charging handle. Upon loading the gun, you would position the stock of the gun under your right arm to support the weight and then with your left hand pull back the charging handle and position it upward into the square pocket, then replace your magazine with a fully loaded one and either pull the charging handle down to return the gun to battery, or do what you really want to do and slap that charging handle like a real operator, with care of course.

Please note, as this is a Gas Blowback Replica, being heavy handed and repeatedly slapping the bolt release may increase wear, as such we cannot cover any problems or damages caused by this.

The hop up on the gun can be found underneath the handguard at the end of the receiver, you can access this by removing the handguard via the front end body pin and sliding it off, you will then see a black dial / cog which surrounds the outer barrel, you can turn this left or right to increase or decrease your applied hop up.

The rest of the gun features your classic H&K G3 / MP5 upper receiver, pistol grip with added finger grooves for comfort and drop style H&K stock which allows the end user to acquire their target with ease by bringing the gun up to eye level. The stock also features a loop style sling mount and a rubber shoulder pad for an effective grip on all surfaces and tactical wear.

The gun also carries another classic G3 feature, which is the Heckler & Koch Bolt Hold Open System: When the magazine is empty and the last round has been fired, the bolt will lock back internally to indicate that you can no longer fire, to which you would replace the magazine and release the bolt. Do note due to this the gun cannot be dry fired, unless a switch on the top of the magazine is pushed over to enable dry fire mode which prevents the follower from contacting the bolt carrier group. The Green Gas magazine that comes with the gun holds a total of 20 rounds, just like it's real steel counterpart, otherwise known as a Real-Cap and weighs just as much as the real thing would when loaded with 20 rounds of 7.62x51.

Lets not forget the awesome part about this replica, it's Gas Blowback. The recoil bolt system in the G3 is manufactured to perfection and provides an immersive, realistic and shoulder budging kick that provides a shooting satisfaction like no other GBB.

The H&K G3 is a German made Assault Rifle brought to service all the way back in 1960 and it still used to this day, a true hallmark of reliability. The real steel counterpart is chambered in 7.62x51 NATO otherwise known as .308, which required the capability to reach up over 3000 meters! as such the G3A3 was given a whopping 17.7" free floating barrel with a vented polymer handguard to regulate the temperature and prevent overheating.
