If you've got your ear to the ground on the latest Airsoft releases, you can't have missed the LevAR 15" from G&G! This innovative platform is powered by green gas, making use of G&G M4/AR-15 AEG upper receivers providing almost unlimited customisation options and the chance to make this lever action "Space Cowboy" rifle truly yours.
The LevAR 15" is confirmed to be compatible with G&G M4 AEG upper receivers, allowing you to configure it how you want, from a long sniper rifle-style setup to a compact and agile scout rifle perfect for mobile marksmen. Powered by green gas using an internal gas reservoir, the LevAR 15" also boasts a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface, meaning the stock can be swapped or removed entirely. Now we have a sample LevAR-15 in our hands, we can confirm that the 1913 interface is set at an angle, so aftermarket 1913 stocks will fit but look funky. We expect G&G will release a range of specific stocks for this interface so stay tuned for more intel!
Our batch of LevAR 15" Gas Powered Lever Action Rifles is due later this year, so sign up for an email stock alert and get in before the rush if you want to be one of the first in the country running this beast. If you need more information before you make the call, check out the full description for all the nitty gritty details!

Description
If you like unconventional platforms with almost unlimited customisation options built-in, you'll love the G&G LevAR 15"! This gas-powered lever action rifle breaks the mould and throws it through a wood chipper, resulting in one of the most unique platforms available in Airsoft with plenty of compatibility with existing G&G Armament M4/AR-15 AEGs.
As you might have seen on our social media, the LevAR system is compatible with G&G Armament M4 AEG upper receivers, meaning if you already own a G&G ARP556, SSG1, CM16 Raider or any other G&G M4 you can hybridise it with the LevAR 15" and create a unique beast with a style all of its own. The inner barrel, bucking and nub are all AEG compatible and the HOP-up unit is a standard G&G rotary, meaning it can potentially be swapped out for aftermarket CNC machined units.
We've already had this beast out on the range so check out the attached video if you want to see the results of our long-range tests. A platform for the radical skirmisher who likes to do things a bit differently, the G&G LevAR 15" is a more exciting alternative to the usual DMR and sniper rifle shapes on site with plenty of performance perks!
Starting at the front, we can find a birdcage-style flash hider on the 15" version, a longer design than the usual M4/AR-15 type and well in keeping with the aesthetic of the longer platform. The LevAR 7" is rocking a compact compensator, keeping the overall length short and providing a menacing look. Both LevAR variants are equipped with 14mm CCW male threaded outer barrels, allowing tracer units, suppressors and alternative muzzle devices to be mounted if you fancy a change of pace.
Moving rearwards, we come to the handguard, a 20mm Picatinny/M-LOK hybrid design with a 20mm rail running along the top and short lengths of 20mm rail machined in at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions at the very front. M-LOK Negative space attachment slots follow just behind, allowing you to mount M-LOK accessories or 20mm rail adapters for M-LOK.
As its name would suggest, the 15" variant is rocking a 15" handguard and the LevAR 7" is equipped with a 7" handguard, both of which are free-floated designs. This means any force applied to the handguard when steering the platform is not transferred to the barrel, avoiding negatively affecting accuracy. Both are CNC machined from aluminium, guaranteeing precise mounting surfaces and providing a superb finish with the added benefit of ultra-low weight.
Installed on the upper rail, we are equipped with a set of flip-up aperture iron sights which can easily be flipped up and down by hand, offering both windage and elevation adjustment. When flipped down, the sights also serve as light-enhancing open sights similar to those found on pistols, meaning you have two options built in when it comes to acquiring your targets. These sights are removable and can easily be replaced with your preferred sights or ditched entirely if your instinct aiming is on point.
The upper receiver of the LevAR is also equipped with a 20mm Picatinny rail, providing plenty of space for a red dot sight or scope to be mounted, even on the shorter 7" variant. Both the upper and lower receivers are made from alloy with a superb wear-resistant finish, as G&G platforms are known for. The machining is sharp and detailed, showcasing "LEVAR" on the left side and "G&G Armament" on the right, flawlessly and discretely engraved in. The upper receiver is in every way an M4/AR-15 type and is compatible with all G&G Armament M4/AR-15 variants with the exception of the CM16 LMG. Sorry guys, no belt-fed lever action for you!
The lower receiver is a unique design with AR-like controls, though some things have changed completely. The fire selector lever is on the left side, easily accessible for a right-handed shooter but being a single action platform, only offers SAFE and FIRE options with a 90-degree throw between each. While entirely different to an AR, the fire selector is easy to work and easy to get used to if you're accustomed to playing "sights off, safety on" with an M4/AR-15 platform.
The magazine release is ambidextrous, with a standard AR style catch on the left side and a double mag release with a forward and rearward extension on the right. The rearward mag release extends towards the shooter considerably, allowing you to reach it with your trigger finger from a firing grip. The forward-mounted catch is ideally placed for retention reloads, meaning no matter how you run the LevAR you'll have no problem with reloads. The magazine release is extremely sensitive and if you have large hands it is possible to bump it. As such, we advise keeping your hand well clear of the mag release until you need to use it!
At the rear of the receiver, you'll find the usual AR charging handle is absent, with a hammer in its place. Each time you cock the LevAR, the hammer will lock back and drop when you press the trigger. Although there is no real steel equivalent to the LevAR, it's nice to see G&G keeping things plausible for the realism fans.
The cocking lever is on the bottom, constructed from aluminium for a perfect combination of low weight and strength. The lever is slightly wider than a standard Winchester lever to allow for gloved users and is rounded on the inside so it doesn't chafe your knuckles. When working the lever, there is a potential you'll hit the trigger by accident or trap your fingers if you aren't already accustomed to running a lever action with adrenaline pumping. We recommend practising and keeping your finger well clear of the trigger when working the action, though this is pretty easy to master.
The grip of the LevAR is constructed from high-quality polymer with textured panels on each side and a comfortable ergonomic shape; a far cry from the original Winchester/Henry style grip and more in keeping with modern Winchester rifles used for hunting and sporting purposes. This type of grip is known as a "semi-pistol grip" and is fantastic for shooting in the prone position, allowing you to get nice and low to make maximum use of surrounding cover.
At the base of the grip, the LevAR is equipped with a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface which allows any 1913/20mm Picatinny stock to be mounted. Unlike other 1913/20mm interfaces, this one is set at an angle, meaning standard 1913/20mm stocks will look a bit funky when mounted. We have already tried a few different stock options and the most functional is the M4/AR-15 buffer tube adapter which provides a bit of extra room to allow for full face masks to be used. We expect G&G will release a range of stock options specifically for the LevAR stock interface, so stay tuned for more intel on that!
While the LevAR 7" does not come equipped with a stock, the LevAR 15" is supplied with a skeletonised rifle stock with an adjustable cheek riser pre-installed. The cheek riser adjusts via the pair of thumbscrews on the left side, allowing you to get a comfortable cheek weld with your choice of optic or get a bit of extra space for your facemask. The butt plate is made from rubber and curves to conform to your shoulder, providing plenty of traction to improve wet-weather handling.
Internally, the LevAR system is entirely unique but built like a tank. From our experiences testing and skirmishing with it, we expect you'll never have a parts failure under normal use thanks to its well-engineered internals made from high-quality materials. The HOP-up unit and inner barrel are standard M4/AR-15 AEG parts, meaning you can upgrade the LevAR for more accuracy and range if you see fit. We had fantastic results using a Laylax Prometheus Stainless Steel Tightbore barrel in the 15" version and we only used a 363mm version. Using the full barrel length of 425mm we expect higher FPS and further improvements to the LevAR's already impressive accuracy.
One of the best aspects of the LevAR system is its ultra-quiet muzzle report, made even quieter with the addition of a suppressor with a foam filling. We tested the PTS Dead Air Sandman suppressor with the LevAR 15" and noticed a significant reduction in muzzle report, making this combo an absolute asset to a mobile marksman who prioritises stealth.
Being a non-blowback design, there is no blowback system to make excessive noise and gas efficiency is absolutely superb, resulting in over 100 shots from a single gas fill. While your playstyle might need a change if you're used to overwhelming the enemy team with fire supremacy, the LevAR's impressive accuracy and minimal muzzle report give it its own specialised niche in the Airsoft arsenal.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
