Best Airsoft Guns & Gear of 2024
The year 2024 has brought us cool new guns, game-changing accessories and some amazing new mission essentials that we can't imagine how we used to skirmish without them. We have selected 10 of the best Airsoft products, released in 2024, that we think deserve a mention for the incredible performance or unique style that they brought to the year.
1. Delta Armory FREYA™
The FREYA™ rifle is the flagship product from Delta Armory, boasting a skeletonised AR-15 design, unique to this replica only. The latter part of 2024 saw the introduction of the Gen.2 FREYA™, an extraordinary platform, with some of the best internals available at its price point. That combined with the highly advanced EAGLE ETU™, makes for a threatening platform at any range.
Due to the different length variants of the FREYA™, we've seen this versatile platform become a long-ranged DMR monster for outdoor domination and others become a compact CQB-orientated rifle built for taking names in close-range duels.
2. EMG STACCATO Hi-Capa
We have never seen a pistol come onto the Airsoft scene and impress quite like the STACCATO did back in May. Real steel nerds will instantly recognise these pistols as some of the most popular and effective pistols. This translates to the Airsoft world as well, their sleek looks and deadly precision made them an instant hit for all Airsofters alike.
Later in the year, we were then treated to some upgraded versions that came with reinforced steel parts, for improved performance and durability!
3. HASTA Hard Case
The HASTA hard case was a surprise for all Airsofters, coming out of nowhere in October. These cases are incredibly robust and excellent for the price. With colour, size and foam options, you can find the perfect case for your needs. The Large and Extra Large cases feature innovative sound-dampened wheels, meaning you can take the weight off your arms without the intense vibration and considerable noise generated by other wheeled hard cases.
They also feature unique stacking grooves that allow several cases of different sizes to be securely stacked for a neat and professional storage solution. To say we're impressed with the HASTA cases is an understatement, they are seriously amazing!
4. Specna Arms PRIME™
Specna Arms' PRIME™ AEGs were very much anticipated this year, internally, they are some of the best out-of-the-box platforms on the market. Boasting reinforced CNC aluminium and steel parts, the new Specna Arms TDC Rotary HOP-up unit is equipped with the Helium™ Flat HOP bucking and a 6.02mm stainless steel tightbore inner barrel for the best accuracy potential. The PRIME™ rifles are also equipped with the Gate ASTER 2™ MOSFET, one of the latest in the Gate MOSFET lineup which boasts Bluetooth connectivity for more precise and convenient control of its advanced features.
5. Novritsch SSR9 DSG
If BRRRRRRRRT were a gun, it would be the Novritsch SSR9 DSG. It gets its amazing 36 BB per second fire rate from the DSG, a Dual Sector Gear which has a 9:1 ratio. A DSG gear set effectively doubles the rate of fire when compared to a standard 18:1 ratio set, providing two cycles for the compression (cylinder) group per single cycle of the gears. That sounds really fancy but all you need to know is that this thing shoots fast.
It is an absolute demon for close to mid-range engagements and handles itself surprisingly well at longer ranges, as seen when it was wielded by Chris Novritsch himself when he played at our outdoor field "Proving Grounds" back in March.
6. HASTA NEBULA Mist Tracer Unit
At the start of the year, we saw the HASTA NEBULA Tactical Mist Tracer Unit released, the first of its kind in the Airsoft world. This muzzle device took realism to the next level, generating a simulated muzzle flash after every shot, just like a real steel rifle would. This combined with the tracer abilities of this muzzle device make it the perfect attachment for any skirmisher looking to improve their gameplay and realism on the battlefield.
Just recently, HASTA released the Gen.2 version, which is 10% more compact and has replaced the fluid tank with a fixed one, to ensure the product will not leak. It uses the same water-glycol solution as smoke machines, so sourcing refills is easy!
7. WELL PRO Minigun
Miniguns in Airsoft, need we say more?
If you like big guns, and we're talking big guns, you're surely well aware of the WELL PRO minigun series. These absolute units are incredible for laying down suppressive fire or demolishing a watermelon in your backyard. You get a choice of all sorts of external builds, from arm-mounted variants to chainsaw grips, but they all boast the same incredible internals, 5 tightbore inner barrels capable of shooting at a monstrous 36 BBs per second.

8. Acetech AceHive MOSCART Grenade
These are arguably the best MOSCART grenades released to the market, not just in 2024, but ever. Their combination of its user-friendly design and effectiveness on the battlefield makes for a truly awesome experience if you run any MOSCART launchers attached to your platforms or independent launchers. There is no feeling quite like releasing 80 BBs in the blink of an eye; people will certainly know not to mess with you again!

9. Novritsch SSR77 AUG
You either love it or hate it! The AUG is like the Marmite of the Airsoft world, some love it, think it's brilliant and others, well, they can't stand the sight of it and even the idea of a bullpup makes them want to throw up. It was highly fitting for Novritsch to release an AUG, as it was the standard-issue rifle Christoph used when completing his Austrian military service.
This Airsoft version is packed to the brim with premium internals, boasting things like a CNC Hop-up chamber with a 60° flat hop infinite bucking, a 24k neodymium high torque motor and a 510mm long 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel. Combined with its dedicated MOSFET/ETU the SSR77 is built for skirmish field domination, and it does that well!
10. PTS Syndicate Dead Air Sandman
Besides a wicked name, this suppressor/tracer also looks the part! The PTS Syndicate Dead Air Sandman is licensed by Dead Air, a real steel silencer brand. Although it won't work to the same effect as the real steel variant, it still has a true baffle system and will dampen the sound of your Airsoft shots on the battlefield.
The tracer version of this is even better, displaying the same stunning looks but with an internal tracer unit, so you can like up your BBs and see exactly where you're shooting. This is the perfect blend of real steel and Airsoft, the premium looks of real steel kit, but modified to function for Airsoft. We're seeing more and more real steel brands partner up and come to the Airsoft world and we must say, real steel style can't be matched!
