Huddersfield Practical Shooting Club: The Farrar Cup - Sunday 16th June 2024
If you own a GBB pistol and fancy challenging yourself, join us for The Farrar Cup! Held in honour of the late H.P.S.C founder, Mark Farrar, The Farrar Cup is an Action Air Level 1 competition with 12 stages of fire held at HALO MILL CQB Arena in Huddersfield.
All you need to get involved is a sidearm, a couple of magazines, a holster and eye protection. The competition is open to shooters of all skill levels, and all proceeds will be donated to The Palliative Care Ward at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Show and Tell - 15/06/2024 at the Patrol Base Showroom
If you're curious about the competitive shooting side of Airsoft, get down to the Patrol Base Showroom on the 15th of June 2024! Jake, our IPSC expert and Bolster Armouries tech is attending to answer your questions, explain the sport, show off some of his equipment and help you get stuck into Action Air competitions and AIPSC (Airsoft International Practical Shooting Confederation).
If you ever wanted to see how deep the Airsoft competition shooting rabbit hole goes, this is your chance. Jake's pistol collection is worth around the same as the average family car and is as tantalising in looks as the Crown Jewels! There will also be a giveaway raffle for attendees of the "Show and Tell" session drawn on the day, with prizes provided by Patrol Base. Stay tuned to find out what you can win!
The Farrar Cup - 16/06/2024 at HALO MILL CQB Arena
Now, onto the main event! The Farrar Cup will be held at HALO MILL CQB Arena in Huddersfield on the 16th of June 2024. The event comprises 12 stages; 6 short stages, 4 medium stages and 2 long stages.
Doors open at 8 am and the briefing will be at 8:45, with the day rounding out when all shooters have completed all stages, aiming to finish by around 5 pm. Green Fee for the event will be £30 and details on how to book your place can be found on the Farrar Cup Facebook Event Page.
The Farrar Cup will also have its own raffle for all attendees, with prizes provided by the event's sponsors. We don't yet have confirmation of what prizes will be in store for the lucky winners, but we are at liberty to divulge the sponsors list:
