The Golden Eagle Type 96 LMG replicates the Nambu Type 96, the standard light machine gun of the Imperial Japanese Army throughout most of WWII. The Golden Eagle replica boasts full metal construction, real wood furniture, a whopping 550mm 6.02mm tightbore inner barrel and a unique gearbox with version 2 compatible internals.

While visually similar to the BREN gun with its top-mounted magazine, the Type 96 is a different beast, using a different internal system than the BREN despite looking related.
