The Z-Tactical Bone Conduction Mobile Phone Earpiece w/Finger PTT plugs straight into a 3.5mm audio jack, making it compatible with most mobile phones. It comfortably fits in your ear, but features a symmetrical design, so it works in either ear perfectly fine.
Bone conduction earpieces work by sending sound vibrations directly through the bones in your skull, rather than through your eardrums. Instead of air passing through your ear canal like regular headphones, these vibrations travel through the bones to the inner ear, where they are interpreted as sound.
It also comes with a PTT button attached to a strip of Velcro, so you can attach it to your finger or rig so you don't lose it in the heat of a battle. There is also a polymer clip for wire management, allowing you to keep the wires close to your clothing so you don't become one big tangle mess on the battlefield.
