- Full metal construction
- Suppressor included
- Inner barrel extension
If you're looking for a unique compact sidearm, the WE Makarov PMM GBB Pistol w/ Silencer should suit you well! This full metal Makarov PMM replica is supplied with a compact suppressor and threaded inner barrel extension, giving you the sneaky look and the option to boost FPS by adding the inner barrel extension.
The real steel Makarov PMM was conceived in the 1990s as a modernisation of the Soviet-era Makarov PM, the Eastern equivalent to the Walther PPK. The PMM variant added a higher capacity magazine and new ergonomic grip panels but maintained all of the unique Makarov features, including its double action/single action trigger and sleek, snag reducing slide.
A small sidearm with a big bang thanks to its ferocious gas blowback recoil and full metal build, the Makarov PMM definitely stands out amongst the hoards of Hi-Capa and Glock-wielding skirmishers. Whether you need a sidearm for your Russian mobster look or you want a change from the usual Western designs, the WE Makarov PMM GBB Pistol w/ Silencer should be your sidearm of choice!

Description
If a unique sidearm will be your next buy, the WE Makarov PMM GBB Pistol w/ Silencer is definitely worth a look! Patterned after the real steel Makarov PMM, the modernised version of the Soviet Makarov PM, this full metal GBB pistol is both sleek and unique, supplied with a compact suppressor and threaded inner barrel extension. The inner barrel extension is purely optional but does give a significant FPS boost; ideal for outdoor skirmish sites where that extra range will come in handy!
Starting at the front, we can see the outer barrel protruding through the sleek, compact slide. At the tip of the barrel, we are treated to 11mm CW female threads, allowing the included suppressor to be mounted or a tracer to be mounted using an 11mm CW female adapter. If you plan to run a tracer on your Makarov, we recommend the EShooter Flare M as it is supplied with the correct adapter.
The slide itself is relatively featureless, matching the aesthetic of the original Makarov and the PMM variant WE has replicated. On the right side, we have a detailed mock extractor at the rear of the mock ejection port, providing the authentic details needed for a proper replica. The open iron sights are located on the top and are very small compared to Western pistol designs but this helps reduce snags for an easier draw from concealment; a great attribute of a compact pistol well suited to a Russian James Bond!
Moving down to the frame, we can find the trigger inside the trigger guard, as we might expect. This curved trigger is a “double action” design, meaning the Makarov can be carried with the hammer down as a form of safety device and fired straight from the draw with a slightly longer trigger pull. After the first shot, the trigger will revert to “single action”, giving you a lighter trigger well suited to rapid fire.
To set your Makarov up for hammer-down carry, insert your magazine and rack the slide. Next, push the decocking lever on the left side of the slide up; this will drop the hammer safely without firing. With this done, your Makarov is set to “condition 1” and can be fired immediately when drawn while maintaining the relative safety of a long double action trigger, similar to revolvers. This is the only safety feature of the Makarov and while it is a bit different from the usual Glock or Hi-Capa setup, it works like a charm!
The grip is a near perfect match for the real Makarov PMM, the updated version which was developed in the early 1990s, equipped with a higher capacity magazine and a more ergonomic profile than the Soviet era version. On each side and the rear, we have diamond checkering with additional dot texture on the front for optimal traction in wet weather. The shape of the grip itself provides a thumb rest on each side, allowing for ambidextrous use without compromising comfort.
On the bottom of the grip, we can find a lanyard mounting loop intended for a pistol retention lanyard. While it may be an old-school feature, a lanyard is a fantastic way to ensure you don’t lose your pistol out in the field; keeping your pistol tethered to your belt so it follows you everywhere! Just in front of the lanyard loop, we can find the “heel” magazine release, made from steel to provide maximum longevity. Pulling the release rearwards will release your magazine.
Above the grip panel on the left side, we can find the slide lock/release catch which is constructed from steel. This ensures the slide locks reliably every time the mag runs dry, keeping this high-wear part as robust as possible. While it is relatively low-profile, the slide lock is easily accessed from a firing grip with or without gloves thanks to its upward curve.
The adjustable HOP-up of the Makarov is inside the slide, taking the form of a rotary adjuster on the top of the outer barrel. To access it, you’ll need to field strip the pistol which is done exactly the same way as the real thing. First, remove the magazine and rack the slide. With this done, pull the front of the trigger guard downwards until it hinges open and locks into place. With this done, pull the slide back and lift the rear off the frame rails, carefully guiding the slide forward and off the outer barrel. This method is rather janky compared to modern pistols and may result in scratches developing over time, though this is a small price to pay for maximum authenticity!
As mentioned, the adjuster is on the top of the outer barrel, taking the form of a serrated polymer rotary slider. The HOP-up allows you to adjust the backspin applied to your BBs to allow for different ammo weights, seeking the flattest possible trajectory. While the HOP-up unit is a unique design, we are reliably informed that the inner barrel and HOP-up bucking are VSR/GBB spec, meaning upgrades are practically unlimited!
Inside, the WE Makarov is a unique design with a combination of alloy and steel internals. One of its more stand-out features is the included threaded inner barrel extension and suppressor, providing a significant FPS boost and enhanced long range performance. With the inner barrel extension installed, we got around 350 FPS +/- 10% on 0.2g BBs using standard green gas; a considerable jump compared to the average of 270 FPS without the extension on board. The included suppressor can be used with or without the extension so if your Makarov is hot with the longer barrel you don’t have to give up the sneaky styling!
If you’re after a compact sidearm with a style all of its own, the WE Makarov PMM is a fine choice! A rare sidearm to say the least, the Makarov will definitely turn heads and is a superb performer as a bonus!

Special Instructions
To field strip the Makarov PMM, remove the magazine, rack the slide then pull down on the trigger guard to release the slide. Ensure that you are extra careful when removing the slide as the Nozzle can easily be caught on the inside of the barrel.
Due to the design of the WE Makarov PMM, there is potential the outer barrel will become scratched after firing. This is due to the recoil spring riding around the outer barrel and is unfortunately unavoidable. Please consider this carefully before making your purchase.
The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
