WADSN DBAL-PL Dual Output Laser and Light with IR function

The DBAL-PL (Dual Beam Aiming Laser - Pistol) from WADSN is constructed entirely from aluminium with a high quality anodised finish applied to its surfaces. This flashlight/laser combination is the daddy of the SBAL-PL, one of the latest and greatest designs to enter the market, offering both illumination and an aiming laser in both the visible light spectrum and infrared. The stout form of the DBAL-PL gives it an ultra-modern and highly advanced look and would be the perfect accessory for a modern "offensive handgun" style primary, such as an FN-X, USP, H&K45 or tactical Hi-capa. Even more so if you own a night vision device you use for skirmishing, the IR mode will allow you to hunt the enemy down in even the darkest areas without the need for visible light, meaning you can remain concealed whilst you send the enemy back to regen!

The DBAL-PL has an activation switch on either side, with the left side switch controlling the IR functionality and the right side switch being responsible for the visible functions of the unit. Each switch is textured for additional grip, and includes embossed lettering with "IR" for the infrared switch, and "VIS" for the visible light switch. Each of these switches can be operated by left or right-handed users, either with the support hand thumb or trigger finger. A single tap on either activation switch will turn the corresponding illuminator on, and an additional tap will turn it off again. Double tapping the visible activation switch will activate the strobe mode for the visible light, which is a super useful function for CQB and room clearing, giving you an extra few seconds to get the kill whilst the enemy team is disoriented. 

Both the IR and visible red laser are controlled through the appropriate activation switch for the spectrum and can be turned on by holding down the corresponding switch for 3 seconds. Holding the switch down again for a further 3 seconds will turn the laser off. This combines perfectly with the way the flashlight activation works, allowing you to turn the laser on with a 3-second press, then press the switch again to run light and laser together, or double-tap the switch to run laser and strobe at the same time! 

The battery compartment of the DBAL-PL is within the body of the light itself and can be accessed by squeezing the two tabs below the activation buttons together, after which the battery door will hinge open. The DBAL-PL requires two CR123a cells to operate and can take either disposable or rechargeable cells. The DBAL-PL also has a 20mm Picatinny mount machined into its shell, with a steel locking bar and screw to secure. This mount design gives the unit the ability to be zeroed and hold its zero over a long duration when compared to QD mounts and lasers with polymer mounting apparatus. When mounted, the DBAL-PL has absolutely no flex, guaranteeing accuracy even under the rigours of an intense skirmish. 

The adjustment screws for both the red aiming laser and the infrared are located on the bottom and the left side of the unit (with the mount facing up). The screw on the bottom controls the elevation (up/down movement) and the screw on the left side controls the windage (left/right movement) of the lasers. Both lasers are zeroed together, saving you time and saving you from messing around trying to zero the IR laser whilst wearing NVGs! With the visible laser zeroed, the infrared laser will co-witness automatically. These screws require a small flat head screwdriver to operate. 

The DBAL-PL has a very realistic external look, sporting accurate warning labels and its name, "DBAL-PL" marked on the right side of the mount, with a WADSN logo on the bottom of the unit. The inclusion of warning stickers that match the real DBAL-PL gives this device a more realistic look and is a thoughtful addition from WADSN. The DBAL-PL is supplied in a polymer hard case, giving you somewhere to store this gorgeous light when it's not in use.

For all the primary pistol users and offensive handgun fans, and those lucky enough to own a night vision device, the DBAL-PL is the pistol torch you need for your big boy handguns.
