Are you in search of a sniping sidearm? Or maybe you're looking for a pistol to match your 2000s military loadout. The SRC SR-SP GBB is exactly what you need! This little pistol is ready for the battlefield, it comes supplied in a hard case with a magazine, all you need to do is provide the BBs and gas, and then you're good to go.

Unlike other gas replicas of the USP-style pistol, this one has a 20mm railed frame. A useful addition which allows this pistol to keep up with other competitors in the sidearm scene. Mount any array under-barrel attachments to ensure your operations are successful.

This pistol features a realistic gas blowback system, every shot is weighty and feels powerful, like the real thing. The rotary HOP-up unit can be found next to the outer barrel, accessible through the top or with the slide removed. It has a 6.05mm inner barrel, allowing for great accuracy potential straight out the box!

Description

The SRC SR-SP GBB is a replica of the iconic sidearm seen in "Counter Strike: Global Offensive" and "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". This pistol has been seen everywhere, and its reputation precedes it, even if you don't know anything about this sidearm it has been seen in so much modern media that you are guaranteed to have seen it at some point.

Its fame is not just from modern media, the real steel pistol quickly took over the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Developed in Germany to replace the less fashionable P7, it spread like wildfire soon after, with many police and military forces adopting it as their standard issue sidearm. American police forces, Australian Special Operations and the French Navy are just a few services that have adopted versions of this pistol during its 30 years on the scene.

This Airsoft replica doesn't carry the same legacy, but it matches the look of the real steel pistol and allows you to carry a piece of important sidearm history with you on the battlefield. The SRC SR-SP GBB comes supplied in a tough polymer case, exactly what you need for transporting it to and from the battlefield. There is also a 25rnd gas magazine supplied with the pistol, however, C02 magazines are available on the market if that's more your style.

Starting at the front of this pistol we find an unthreaded outer barrel. No muzzle devices are needed for this pistol, its menacing silhouette and amazing out-of-the-box performance are more than enough for any skirmisher to be impressed with this sidearm.

The slide of this pistol is constructed from a dense durable alloy, its weight is what gives this sidearm its super realistic blowback system. Every shot feels intense as the metal slide fires back and your wrists are jolted upwards, the closest one can imagine to firing a real steel pistol whilst keeping their Airsoft replica site legal. Additionally, a set of open iron sights are sitting atop the slide, ideal for quick target acquisition and sending your BBs in the rough direction of the enemies.

The 20mm Picatinny rail sits at the front of the pistol, on the underside of the frame. This section of rail space is not usually present on pistols of this style, so seeing this modern take on a 30-year-old pistol is refreshing. The rail space can comfortably accommodate attachments such as lights, lasers or launchers. You just need to decide which of these is a mission essential.

Following the frame rail, we come to the trigger guard which is considerably enlarged to allow for full finger gloves. The front face of the guard features rough texturing to provide an extra index point to keep the front end under control, a particularly important design aspect for the intense gas blowback and long trigger press of the SRC SR-SP GBB when it isn't cocked. The trigger itself is a standard curved design, intended to keep your finger placement proper, even when hammering out double taps in a hurry!

The magazine release is in the usual spot for pistols of this style; where the trigger guard meets the pistol grip. This mag release is a pushdown-style lever like other USP and MP7 platforms and is present on both sides, ideal for both left and right-handed shooters. The textured grip is styled aggressively to maximise wet weather handling and control of the pistol, an invaluable design feature, the last thing you want to the gas blowback knocking the pistol out of your hands during the middle of a skirmish, talk about embarrassing!

At the base of the grip, we are also treated to a lanyard loop, allowing you to mount a Pistol Retention Lanyard so your SR-SP doesn't go missing in the woods! Over on the left side of the frame, we find the slide lock which will lock back when your magazine becomes empty.

The safety and de-cocker are found at the back of the pistol, on the left side of the frame. Push the lever up to activate the safety feature, this disconnects the trigger allowing it to be pulled without cycling the pistol. Pull the lever all the way down to decock the hammer. This doesn't make the pistol safe as the trigger can still be pulled to cycle the pistol, but it does make it harder as the trigger pull is heavier.

Internally, we are treated to a 6.05mm inner barrel. The tight diameter of this barrel allows for extremely good accuracy potential and when paired with the rotary HOP-up unit, you can tune your SRC SR-SP for any BB weight and have it launch them downrange with the precision needed to dominate any skirmish field.
