Golden Eagle Nemesis Arms Vanquish Sniper Rifle

If you're an Airsoft assassin seeking a suitable sniper rifle, the Nemesis Arms Vanquish from Golden Eagle is one to watch! Boasting full metal construction and a unique take-down design, the Vanquish is uniquely minimalist in its aesthetic, inspired by the Cheytac Intervention, star of the show in the popular movie Shooter (2007).

With a meaty muzzle brake up front followed by a fluted barrel, the Vanquish ticks all the boxes for a precision rifle when it comes to styling and is rocking some handy quality-of-life features despite its minimalist, skeletonised design. Below the receiver, we are equipped with a bipod socket for the included bipod, allowing you to let the surrounding terrain take the weight of the Vanquish while you focus on landing that hit. As we might expect, the receiver features a lengthy 20mm Picatinny rail for your optic and the pistol grip is M4/AR-15 GBBR/real steel compatible, letting you enhance ergonomics as you see fit.

Out on the range, we were able to land consistent hits at 60 meters using 0.40g BBs with no changes other than setting the TDC HOP-up; very impressive performance for an out-of-the-box sniper platform. If you're into the Cheytac Intervention look but can't stomach the size and weight of a Cheytac replica, the Nemesis Arms Vanquish is the ideal choice!

Starting at the front, we are treated to a meaty alloy muzzle brake mounted to the tip of the outer barrel, a device designed to reduce felt recoil in real steel form. The brake mounts to non-standard barrel threads measuring 19mm in diameter in a clockwise direction, meaning you will need an adapter to mount 14mm CCW suppressors. The outer barrel profile behind the muzzle brake is slightly reduced to facilitate suppressor mounting. Here's hoping Golden Eagle give us an adapter for this beast!

Moving rearwards along the outer barrel, we can take note of the fluted design intended to help cool the barrel and reduce weight in real steel form, replacted here with flawless machining throughout. As we reach the receiver, we can see the knurlled barrel nut which is the primary part of the Nemesis' quick take down feature, allowing you to unscrew the nut and remove the barrel with no tools required.

Below the barrel, we can find the bipod mounting socket which allows the included folding bipod to be installed and removed in seconds. The bipod requires the legs to be squeezed together to unlock and can be removed via the catch on the left side. There is no handguard on this variant of the Vanquish, meaning if you're shooting from a standing unsupported position, you'll need to grab a bipod leg!

The receiver itself is made from hefty alloy, featuring Nemesis Arms trademarks on the flanks and a centrally positioned ambidextrous magazine release on the bottom. Up top, we have a lengthy 20mm Picatinny rail for your choice of rifle scope. We recommend the PCS 6-24x50 Illuminated Rifle Scope w/ Parallax Regulation as it suits the proportions of the Vanquish perfectly. The bolt release latch is on the left side, just above the pistol grip and stock locking mechanism. This allows you to remove the bolt without the need for tools, just like the real Vanquish. The mag release is on the bottom, a centrally positioned paddle ideal for left or right-handed shooters.

The pistol grip is right where we would expect, an M4/AR-15 "A2" pistol grip, a popular design in military circles, used on the M16A2, M4A1 and MK.18 rifles, to name but a few. This is a GBBR/real steel spec grip, meaning you can swap it out for your preferred pistol grip design to customise the ergonomic aspects of the Vanquish to suit your needs. The trigger itself is a flat design with the safety catch just in front, minimising movement needed to make the rifle safe, an ideal attribute of a sniper rifle.

At the rear, we can find the Cheytac-style sliding stock, offering 5 adjustment positions and a comfortable cheek rest to give you the perfect view down whatever scope you're equipped with. The stock can be extended using the button on the left side and can be compressed down to meet the receiver; an important part of the Vanquishes "take-down" design. The butt plate is also serrated to provide maximum grip in wet weather, keeping the Vanquish firmly positioned even when wearing body armour.

Inside, the Golden Eagle Vanquish is a propriatory design with some VSR-10 compatibility and plenty of perks built-in. The cylinder is wider in diameter than comparable sniper rifles, allowing for a short bolt pull without sacrificing air volume and FPS. The inner barrel is VSR-10 compatible, as is the HOP-up bucking but the unit itself is a TDC design with a grub screw adjuster on the top of the receiver rail.

The HOP-up arm is designed for cylindrical nubs and is made from aluminium alloy to ensure top-notch HOP-up performance and the results speak for themselves! We had superb results shooting this beast on our outdoor range using 0.40g BBs; 9 out of 10 shots could reach our 60m target, and we even landed hits on a head-sized plate at a whopping 70 meters!

Special Instructions

The Golden Eagle Vanquish is supplied dissassembled in the box. Assembly requires the barrel to be mounted and the bolt to be installed in the receiver.

Due to its loading mechanism, the Golden Eagle Nemesis Arms Vanquish Sniper Rifle will retain 10-15 BBs inside the feed chute after the magazine has been removed. Please take extra safety precautions when using this rifle.
