Acetech Brighter C Tracer Unit

Known as one of the best compact tracer units on the market, the Acetech Brighter C boasts an ultra-compact form, measuring a mere 5.8cm in overall length with a 2.7cm diameter and tipping the scales at only 32g. This means you can mount it to a tiling barrel GBB pistol without compromising gas efficiency and cyclic rate, with the bonus that the Brighter C fits nicely into most polymer retention holsters, with no need to take it off before reholstering. 

When you receive the Brighter C, it will need to be charged before its first use via the included Micro USB cable. Once charged, the unit can be activated simply by shaking it and will power down after 5 minutes of inactivity. This helps save your battery life and means you never have to wonder whether your tracer is on or off when you draw to engage; simply drawing your pistol from a holster will activate the Brighter C, ready to make the enemy team pay!

The charging port is underneath the front aperture, requiring you to unscrew it to access it. The front aperture also serves to seal the Brighter C from water and dust ingress, granting it IP64 Dust and Splashproof status provided you fully tighten the front aperture when reinstalling it. As is often the case with removable parts, there is potential that the front aperture could get lost in your kit box, though Acetech thoughtfully includes a spare in the box!

If you ever need to store your Brighter C for a long duration, you have the option of fully powering it off. This can be done by inserting a pen or equivalent pokey stick through the unit and keeping it there for 2 full seconds, after which the unit will emit 3 short beeps 5 times consecutively. With this done, the shutdown process is complete and you can remove your pokey stick. As with all tracer units with internal rechargeable batteries, we recommend charging your Brighter C at least once every 2 months to maintain battery health. 

By default, the Brighter C mounts to 14mm CCW male barrel threads present on the vast majority of AEGs and GBBRs and also present on some GBB pistols. If you're using a WE or Armourer Works GBB pistol or another type with an 11mm CW female threaded barrel, you're in luck! The Brighter C comes packaged with an adapter so you can install it straight away on 11mm CW female threading. If you're rocking a VORSK or RAVEN pistol, use a 12mm CW female to 14mm CCW male thread adapter to get busy with the Brighter C!

If you want to get stuck in with a super bright tracer unit but still want to holster your sidearm, the Acetech Brighter C is your best bet. Likewise, for those running a rifle that is already long enough, the Brighter C lets you enjoy glowing tracer goodness with a unit no longer or heavier than your original flash hider!
