How to Load An Airsoft AK
In this Airsoft Quick Tips video, we show you how to properly load an Airsoft AK! The AK uses a "rock and lock" insertion method which is a bit different to other platforms and takes a bit of practice to master. If you're new to Airsoft and ever wondered how people reload an Airsoft AK then look no further!
The first section of the video will detail how to change the magazine itself with the "rock and lock" method and the second section shows a faster tactical 'AK mag flip' reload used by Spetsnaz and other elite operators using AK platforms. The second technique is for advanced users only but is a great way to get your AK back into action double time!
The "rock and lock" insertion method requires that the front of the magazine is first indexed at the front of the magazine well, then the rear of the magazine is "rocked" into place at the rear of the magwell where it will lock in via the magazine release.
The "mag flip" reload allows an AK user to hit the magazine release with the new magazine and push the spent magazine clear in one fluid motion, then lock the fresh magazine in. Mag flips are for emergencies only, so use this technique wisely to avoid excessive damage to your mags!
