How to Install a Raven BDS Sight Battery
In this PBTV Airsoft Quick tips video, we present an instructional guide to fitting a CR2016 battery to your RAVEN/VORSK BDS sight which comes pre-installed to many of both RAVEN and VORSK's GBB pistols. These pistols don't include batteries for the BDS sight in the box, so if you need to pick some up you will need CR2016 button cells (the BDS requires one to function).
To install the CR2016 button cell you will need to follow the steps below:
- Remove the sight from the pistol using the Allen key provided with the pistol
- Invert the BDS sight and insert the CR2016 button cell with the positive terminal facing up (with the sight inverted, so down!)
- Reinstall the BDS using the Allen bolts and Allen key and get shooting!
This guide also applies to many aftermarket micro red dot sights, so if you don't have a RAVEN/VORSK BDS but you do have a Doctor or RMR style micro RDS this guide could still be helpful.
