NUPROL 2500rnd C-MAG Double Drum Magazine for M4/AR-15 AEGs; Sound Control

The NUPROL 2500rnd C-Mag Double Electric drum magazine can be an asset in any Airsoft skirmisher's kitbag, and is especially useful for those who want to run a lightweight and high-speed loadout with a single magazine, without making sacrifices when it comes to firepower.

The magazine is powered by the included rechargeable battery which needs to be inserted into the magazine body by removing the rear plate using a screwdriver(seeSpecial Instructions for more details). The battery is stored in the left side of the shell, so you can leave the right side drum in place when installing the battery. The fill window is located at the top of the magazine, as with most other high-cap magazines. The activation switch can be found on the front of the magazine body, and when pushed to the left (looking at the mag from the front), the magazine will automatically wind the mechanism to keep the BBs feeding into your M4/AR-15 AEG whenever it is fired. This is known as the "sound control" mode, and practically means you can forget about winding this magazine yourself!

With the switch pushed to the right, you can engage the manual wind function, which means if the sound control isn't keeping up with the speed of your setup, you can take matters into your own hands. The central position is the "off" position, which will kill power to the magazine, though it will not decompress the winding mech.

A drum magazine is also a useful addition to the loadout of a skirmisher who wants to try out the role of a Support gunner, without taking the plunge on a dedicated support weapon. This is a great option for those who are on the fence about tackling a new aspect of the sport, and the drum magazine won't lose its functionality if you decide to stick with an assault role as it can be thrown into a utility pouch and kept handy for emergencies, i.e when you need to shoot your way out of trouble!

Special Instructions

To install the rechargeable battery in the NUPROL 2500rnd C-Mag you will need to remove the left side drum rear plate using a screwdriver. The two screws in the left side plate will need to be removed along with the central three screws and metal retaining piece. With this done you should be able to lift the left side rear plate free, and inside you will find a small red connector to which you mount your battery.
