Ghillie gear from Novritsch...
Description
If you remember when Novritsch first dropped the SSG24, you need a veteran's discount! In 2017, this sniper rifle made waves in online communities, praised for its high quality and high-performance build. Now it's back and better than ever, in limited stock, Novritsch has brought back the SSG24 and fitted it with state-of-the-art internals so that it doesn't have to be tuned or modified with aftermarket parts.
This SSG24 is for skirmishers who want nothing other than perfection, skirmishers who like a platform that guarantees results. Instead of sourcing your own upgrade parts, Novritsch has kindly preinstalled them all into the platform, making it a force of nature straight out of the box.
Let's talk high-performance internals, an oxidized steel cylinder shaft has been combined with a hard anodised aluminium cylinder head to make a durable base to compress air. The spring guide has been constructed from polished stainless steel. The high-speed piston, combined with the lightweight aluminium shaft and polymer glide ring, creates a smooth, efficient and durable system.
This SSG24 also comes with a two-stage 90° trigger, with an increased weight at the end of the action so you know exactly when your sniper rifle will fire. Both the trigger and the piston sear are constructed from hardened heat-treated steel, this means the system is capable of handling springs up to M190 (this would exceed site's FPS limits though so we don't recommend it).
The slider HOP-up adjuster is easily accessible on the side of the outer barrel, the assembly applies HOP to both sides of the chamber to avoid side HOP effects. The soft silicone has an extremely high friction coefficient and sits tightly in the HOP-up chamber, providing a 100% air seal. This combined with the 475mm long 6.01mm inner barrel creates accuracy potential like no other, firing every BB with deadly precision.
Now that all the premium internal parts are covered, let's go over the glorious external build and quality of the SSG24. Starting at the front of this sniper rifle we find a drill-fluted outer barrel, machined from a 4mm thick aluminium pipe. This ensures that the SSG24 will withstand whatever bumps and bashes occur whilst traversing the battlefield. At the end of the barrel, you will fine 26mm CW threading, meaning with a thread adapter, you can mount your chosen muzzle device to personalise this sniper rifle or make it more effective on the battlefield.
Following the outer barrel rearwards, we come to the chassis/stock of the rifle which is constructed from reinforced glass fibre polymer with a textured effect to improve handling qualities and provide a luxurious feel. On the bottom of the chassis, we have a Harris-style bipod stud, ready for a Harris-style bipod to be fitted as well as a regular sling stud, which pairs with an identical one at the rear of the stock.
Rear of the Harris and sling studs, we come to the magazine well which is located in a similar position to that of a VSR-10 sniper rifle, though the M24 uses its own internal system. The magazine catch is built into the front of the magazine itself, making it centrally positioned which is ideal for left or right-handed snipers. Compatibility-wise, the SSG24 accepts only Novritsch SSG24 magazines, compatibility can not be guaranteed with other brands.
Next up, we reach the receiver which is constructed from alloy, matching the metal to polymer proportions of the real M24 perfectly. Up top, we have an extended 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for a glorious riflescope to be mounted. The rail features a cutout in the middle like most common snipers, allowing for rifle scopes mounted via scope rings.
The bolt handle is located on the right side of the rifle and is an extended design with a textured tip for optimal grip. To cock the M24, you will need to lift the bolt, pull it rearward until it locks, push it back forwards and rotate it back into place, just like a real bolt action sniper rifle. The bolt assembly is constructed from alloy and does require some force to cock due to the rather strong spring inside.
The trigger is housed inside the alloy trigger guard assembly and is the standard curved sniper rifle trigger designed to encourage proper finger placement. As stated earlier, the SSG24 has a 2-stage 90° trigger, meaning that the initial pull is easy and requires little force but when it gets to the firing point of the trigger pull there will be an increase in resistance, so you know exactly when the shot will fire.
Behind the trigger guard, we find a "Semi-pistol-grip", the traditional gripping location for bolt action rifles. The grip is set at a comfortable angle for shooting both prone and standing, and the textured finish of the stock aids handling qualities so you can keep the rifle firmly in your hands, with or without gloves. The grip of the SSG24 is wider than comparable SSG10 grips, making it extra comfortable when shooting from the prone position; the most iconic and effective shooting position for snipers.
The stock follows the iconic design of the real M24, allowing you to adjust the extension of the rubber butt plate using the large radial disc in between it and the stock. It allows for roughly 6cm of adjustment, so you can situate the sniper perfectly in your shoulder for comfort and accuracy out on the battlefield. Pointing the barrel forwards, rotating the disc clockwise extends the stock and anti-clockwise shortens it.
If you're seeking one of the best out-of-the-box sniper rifles available on the market right now, you should treat yourself to the Novritsch SSG24. This platform has all the upgraded parts necessary for battlefield domination with high-quality internals and externals, built for performance and longevity. Plus, it's a part of history, the SSG24 is where it all started and a limited edition pre-upgraded rifle like this is not something you want to miss!

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
