Bolster Armouries Drop 2
The fantastic Bolster Armouries range of hand-built, highly upgraded Airsoft guns returns with Drop 2; featuring some of Bolster's highly successful previous releases in a newly revised format, and two new custom-built Hi-capa GBB pistols, each with their own uniquely attractive style and of course, bristling with Airsoft Masterpiece, Waldo Customs and CowCow Tech upgrade parts. Bolster Armouries ONYX [Forged Edition] Advanced M4 AEG
Trying to build a better Bolster Armouries ONYX is like trying to make improvements to the Sistine Chapel. It's hard to improve on perfection, but Bolster Armouries are always looking for ways to shoot further, faster, and for longer. With 8 months of extra research, development and testing under their belts, the Bolster Team has added some choice reinforcements to the ONYX platform along with some external changes to keep the ONYX at the cutting edge of Airsoft platform design.
The ONYX [Forged Edition] AEG is fitted with the phenomenally powerful Warhead Industries 36K motor and the highly advanced Gate TITAN MOSFET, and just like its predecessor, has been hand built and perfectly tuned with nothing left to chance when pursuing its goal of outperforming any other out of the box AEG available.
On the inside, the [Forged Edition] adds a Prometheus Hard Bevel Gear and a Guarder Reinforced Tappet plate to help handle the enormous strain from the Warhead Motor, but the rest of the high-grade internal parts remain, providing the same exceptional Bolster Armouries performance but forged stronger than ever before!
Externally the new ONYX [Forged Edition] AEGs come with an authentic real steel Magpul CTR carbine stock which remains the best carbine stock in the world, and a plethora of PTS Syndicate ergonomic upgrades, including the superb Fortis CNC Aluminium front grip and luxuriously comfortable EPG pistol grip.
The QD suppressor has been updated and is now the PTS MK18 SD QD Suppressor with PTS 51T flash hider, and a Maxx Model Ambidextrous magazine release has been added to provide swift mag changes for both left and right-handed shooters while matching the discrete accents provided by the metallic blue finish of the Maxx Model Speed Trigger perfectly.
As it was previously, the ONYX [Forged Edition] is available in two different lengths; the light and tight 10" SBR configuration and the multi-role 14.5" Carbine setup.
The ONYX SBR [Forged Edition] is a short-barreled M4/AR15 AEG with the modern external feature set expected of a 21st-century AR15 platform with highly upgraded internals and a unique aesthetic. The Onyx SBR features a 10-inch outer barrel, 9.5-inch M-LOK handguard, authentic Magpul CTR carbine stock, and a PTS MK18SD QD suppressor and PTS 51T flash hider setup, and is equipped with a plethora of PTS ergonomic enhancements.
A Cerakote finish in Northern Lights has been applied to the outer barrel and buffer tube, providing a jaw dropping colour changing navy blue that turns into a teal green when tilted, giving the ONYX SBR [Forged Edition] it's custom Bolster Armouries look with a highly practical and robust ceramic coating intended for real firearms.
The ONYX Carbine [Forged Edition] is Bolster Armouries mid-length AR15 platform, sporting a 13-inch M-LOK rail system and a 14.5-inch barrel, in classic M4 carbine length format but with a longer handguard allowing a more modern "C-Clamp" shooting grip. The ONYX Carbine features the same authentic Magpul CTR stock and PTS MK18SD QD suppressor with PTS 51T flash hider setup as its little brother and is ready for any encounter, whether it is in the close confines of a CQB site or laying down some long ranged firepower outdoors!
The ONYX Carbine is finished in the beautiful Crushed Orchid shade of Cerakote, providing the unique Bolster Armouries aesthetic language that is instantly recognizable as a custom Airsoft gun. The finish is visible through the weight-reducing ports on the handguard, and the draining ports on the CTR stock, contributing to the subtle contrast in the ONYX Carbine [Forged Edition] design.
The parts chosen for the ONYX [Forged Editon] platform were specified by our head technician and the mastermind behind Bolster Armouries, Mark Pinder, who has spent many hours testing, fitting and tuning the internals to be absolutely perfect, whilst providing performance that will bring a smile to anyone's face, and stun even veteran skirmishers with its insane rate of fire and astonishing range.
Any of the previously build ONYX AEGs which have been returned for servicing have been brought up to Forged Edition standard on the inside, and the Bolster Armouries 24-Month Warranty and Service plan still applies to the new Forged Edition ONYX, underlining the confidence Bolster Armouries has in their work and giving you nothing to worry about other than the shooting!
Bolster Armouries CAPA Precision Hi-capa GBB Series
The Bolster Armouries CAPA series is also making a return, with the new and further refined QUARTZ 2.0 taking centre stage as Bolster's open division competition shooter and the all-new MOONSTONE [Special Edition] which has been revamped with the same flawless Airsoft Masterpiece internals and controls as its predecessor, the MOONSTONE, in a new shorter format which hybridizes AIPSC pistol performance with combat-ready features.
The MOONSTONE [Special Edition] is built out with Airsoft Masterpiece externals, and a selection of Airsoft Masterpiece, AIP, Waldo Customs and Maple Leaf internals, just like the other Bolster Armouries CAPA Precision Hi-capas. Where the Special Edition differs is in its shorter overall length, making use of a 4.3-inch barrel, shortened slide and 3.9-inch frame, reducing the weight and allowing for a much faster draw from a holster.
As with the original MOONSTONE, the [Special Edition] is equipped with authentic fibre optic iron sights, allowing for a battery-free and ultra-reliable sighting solution which is visible in any ambient lighting condition, making it great for skirmishing but equally swift on the clock at an AIPSC/Action Air match. The MOONSTONE [Special Edition] also adds a 20mm Picatinny frame rail and threaded outer barrel so if you want to kit it out for CQB domination you can!
To make things all the more special, the Special Edition MOONSTONE is available in two unique colour schemes. The enticing MOONSTONE [DAWN] is finished in metallic purple and silver, giving off a vibe of regal professionalism with its precise machining and alluring colour scheme. The MOONSTONE [DUSK] makes use of a striking azure blue and silver combination for a frosty aesthetic which will send chills up the spine of anyone who has to face down with it on the field.
Bolster Armouries "Open Division" pistol, the QUARTZ 2.0 is intended to provide undiluted speed and perfect accuracy, especially when fired rapidly. To meet the requirements of an open division pistol, the QUARTZ 2.0 design does away with unnecessary combat style features such as iron sights, replacing them with an ultra-low profile Vector Optics Frenzy-X reflex sight on the ubiquitous JL Precision Amphibious mount.
The QUARTZ 2.0 adds the Airsoft Masterpiece Advanced Frame and Aluminium Grip Type 8 to the already well equipped original QUARTZ, making for a slightly heavier pistol with the perfect balance and handling needed for a stable competition platform that is easy to steer between targets with enough weight at the front to effectively compensate for recoil forces and muzzle rise.
As with the previous Bolster Armouries CAPA pistols, every QUARTZ 2.0 and MOONSTONE [Limited Edition] is hand-assembled by resident AIPSC shooter, Jake, who based the internal spec of the CAPA series on his own custom built competition pistols. His many years of experience combined with the exceptional parts within the CAPA series make them practically unrivalled when it comes to slide speed, accuracy and gas efficiency, and their Airsoft Masterpiece externals make the second to none in build quality.
The Bolster Armouries 24-Month Warranty and Service plan also applies to the CAPA series, meaning if you have a parts failure during this period Bolster Armouries will have your back and get you shooting again as a priority. Even if your CAPA still runs but it could use a check over you can send it to Bolster Armouries for maintenance and a health check whenever you feel the need!
