Description
Boasting more features than the human eye itself! The HIKMICRO Thunder is a 19mm thermal imaging rifle scope built to a staggering level of professional quality and featuring a wealth of flexible functionality. The Thunder can be used in two configurations; a thermal weapon scope, and a handheld thermal monocular. This scope lets you feel Airsoft gameplay that is truly next level and few else will be able to experience.
Equipped with a high-sensitivity detector and adopts advanced thermal imaging technology to get clear vision in poor light conditions or dark environments. The scope can be used to help determine the distance of ranged targets as well as capture snapshots, record video and set parameters with the T-Vision app after being connected to your phone via hotspot or using its onboard 16GB memory.
Using the highly sensitive, SUB 35mK NETD, 384x288 17µm Thermal Sensor, the HIK Micro Thunder Thermal Weapon Scope delivers industry-leading detail and clarity.
The Thunder shares many of the features including the choice of 4 colour palettes, Hot Track, and WiFi, to stream, record and control from your phone, plus NEW and exciting features like 'Picture-in-Picture', 5 reticle choices and in with the option of 3 colours.
The scope comes with a 2.1x magnification lens system and a detection distance of 1235m for some serious coverage. Included in the package is a Picatinny rail and you're ready to attach it to your rifle. Alternatively, you can detach the Picatinny rail and use the Thunder as a thermal monocular.
Generally speaking, thermal imaging provides a better advantage than night vision when skirmishing. One reason for this is that, unlike IR imaging you don't have to spread other ambient IR light around to visualise, as such you have less chance of giving yourself away when skulking in the darkness. Therefore if you are looking for optics and scopes in this price range, thermal imaging might be the way to go depending on your playstyle; So if you fancy yourself a Predator type, this optic blows the competition out of the water. The only potential downside is that it is not compatible with lens protectors as the thermal imaging will not detect past the external lens, and likely you will see a heat reflection of yourself.
Another upside over IR imaging is that thermal imaging will detect heat through obstructions such as fences and wiring, allowing you to pick off targets that thought they were safe behind partial cover. Last but not least is the ability to detect heat shadows. This means that any disparate heat source will leave a 'shadow' and leave a trace against the cold surroundings, such as a handprint left on a surface before moving. This makes tracking at night, ridiculously efficient.
Activating the Hot Tracking function will allow your Thunder to highlight the hottest spot detected in the current frame with a green crosshair and highlight small heat sources as you scan around. You can also zero the scope by marking the offset on the reticule after the first shot. Five zeroing profiles are configurable for different distances. Another feature is the Picture-in-Picture setting in that the scope can zoom in to the central part of the live view and show that section as a separate picture in the view, allowing you to see the details.
So if you want to truly take your Airsoft game to the next level and experience a playstyle few will be able to comprehend, the Thunder19mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope will dominate the competition and let you hunt like a true predator.

Please be aware that roughly every 30 seconds the screen will very briefly freeze for about half a second and make a clicking sound. This is completely normal and simply the scopes recalibrating itself.
We cannot guarantee that a BB will not damage the thermal scope, however, due to the nature of the device a lense protector would disable the thermal imaging and it would not function properly. Please use with care, we do not offer warranty due to in-game damages.
