G&G Armament CM16 LMG

This Airsoft electric LMG from G&G is built on the well-loved CM16 platform which has the advantage of having been worked on and refined for a number of years, before being converted to its' final form: The CM16 LMG. From the receiver, this replica is extremely familiar to anyone who has used an M4 platform rifle, with the addition of an ambidextrous mag release and a folding charging handle. Beyond that is all new territory for the CM16 family, and has been created using the highest density Nylon Polymers which are not only rigid and tough, but feel great to the touch.

The end of the barrel features a 14mm CCW thread for suppressors and tracer units, accessible from underneath the gargantuan flash hider which screws off the end.  This barrel assembly is made from Alloy and runs down the receiver, which gives a rigid platform for this rifle to be built on - and eliminates creaks and wobbles. This barrel assembly features the unique M-LOK/20mm RIS combo handguard which is imposing and looks the part; offering two 20mm rails and two side M-LOK slots to save on weight, and give good compatibility for accessories. The upper receiver features an LMG style loading tray which is hinged, and raises up to allow you to install the dummy bullet belt to increase realism. This upper receiver has a 20mm rail ready for optics and sights, but comes with a rear ironsight installed, to be used in conjuction with the flip-up front sight. The rear of the weapon features a buffer tube with a six position adjustable G&G Crane Stock which has plenty of room for batteries, and house the MOSFET and Small Tamiya Connector for installing your battery. The stock features an easy access battery compartment with a thick rubber pad, QD sling sockets and a small storage compartment. The box magazine is very easy to use and only requires 2 x CR123A batteries to operate. Simply remove the Velcro cover and open the battery door to install batteries. To load BBs, pull open the loading window where you would install the dummy rounds and pour them in place. Once the magazine is powered, filled with BBs and installed to the weapon it will begin to feed BBs as the replica needs - no worrying about winding or setting the mode.

The internal quality is everything you would expect of a top-tier G&G gun, and more. It has their signature MOSFET and Electronic Trigger Unit which means free use of 11.1v batteries for crazy rates of fire, and a programmable trigger which can be changed between burst and full auto by holding the trigger down in Semi Auto for ten seconds. The inner barrel is 6.03mm wide @ 357mm long which makes for good consistency, especially when combined with a heavyweight BB and careful use of the Rotary HOP unit. The MOSFET/ETU has low voltage detection which will stop the replica from firing when your battery has become heavily discharged. This is great for LiPo users who want the piece of mind that they cannot run their batteries so flat that they cannot be recharged again.
