Description

The Evolution Airsoft Recon MK18 is built to a stunning standard, with a combination of CNC Machined Aluminium and Alloy being used for the externals, including a CNC Billet Outer Barrel and Anodised Handguard. The internals of this Rifle have not been neglected, making them an exceptional 'out of the box' choice.

The Gun features a 14mm CCW Thread at the end of the barrel, for installing Suppressors and Tracer Units. The Anodised Handguard is a 20mm RIS/RAS MK18 design that features numbered rail slots and a gorgeous tan/bronze finish. The Receiver is made from Reinforced Technopolymer, and features a Unique Serial Number lasered onto the side, which helps identify your replica should it ever go missing. On top of the 20mm Receiver Rail are a set of Flip Up Ironsights which can be adjusted for Windage/Elevation. The Fire Controls on the Receiver are in typical AR layout, with a Safe / Semi / Auto Fire Selector within easy reach of your thumb. The back of the Gun has a Six Position Sliding Crane Stock, which is also where your Battery should be housed. Inside the Stock is a Mini Tamiya Connector, and plenty of space for a 7.4v LiPo Crane Stock Battery. To access the Battery Compartment, squeeze the tabs at the rear of the Stock and pull the Rubber Butt Pad away from the Gun. An Ambidextrous Sling Plate allows for the connection of a Sling from either side of the Gun, making this a potential candidate for Left Handed Players.

The Gun features a Rotary HOP Unit which can be accessed by pulling back on the Charging Handle. This will open the Dust Cover and allow access to the Rotary Dial. The Gearbox contains a tonne of 'pre-upgraded' components such as a Reinforced Pistol w/ Full Steel Teeth, Reinforced Steel Ball Bearings, Reinforced Steel Gears, Reinforced Gearbox Shell and a 6.01mm Tightbore Inner Barrel. The Gearbox also has cutouts that are ready to accept the Evolution MOSFET and Electronic Trigger Units if you so wish.

Included in the box is a 300rnd High Cap Magazine that is loaded using a Speedloader, and will feed BBs into the Gun until empty. If you're looking for a fantastic out-of-the-box Airsoft experience, then you can't go wrong with the Evolution Airsoft Recon MK18 MoD 1 10.8" Carbontech.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
