KWA QRF Mod.3 AEG 2.5 SMG

The QRF MOD.3 is built from high quality components, with a wobble free design and features an Anodised flash hider, Alloy receiver, handguard, outer barrel, and internals, with a polymer pistol grip, battery storage compartment and butt plate.

This Airsoft gun is powered by Electric, with a large battery storage compartment as part of the stock, allowing a wide range of batteries to be used, with support for large Ni-Mh and LiPo battery to be used. The gun fires in semi and fully automatic, with an impressive rate of fire, sure to send the enemy team running.

The magazine is straight, and is designed to look like the MP9 series of magazines, holding up to 85 rounds. As a Mid-Cap design, this magazine will feed until empty, with an elongated follower that will ensure every last BB is fired through the Gun. The weapon controls such as the magazine release, and bolt release are ambidextrous making it great for both left and right handed shooters, or for those who like to transition shoulders in tight CQB environments. The butt plate is flat to make shouldering the replica easier, and can be collapsed to two open positions and closed. The stock can be pulled to open, but will need the release button pressing to close it again. The Bolt-Lock can be operated for adjusting the HOP, but needs to be manually engaged by pulling the charging handle and lifting the bolt release.

The handguard of the replica features both MLOK panel slots, and 20mm RIS / RAS Rail panels allowing for a wide range of aftermarket attachments to be fitted. The gun also comes with two MLOK to 20mm Rail panels included allowing you to use all the same accessories you have used on your other Airsoft guns as well. The top of the replica features a full length 20mm RIS / RAS rail to allow even the largest sight and scope set ups to be used, with ample space for holographic and magnifier setups. A set of flip-up ironsights are included in the box, giving you the ability to use it accurately straight away.

The replica features an adjustable hop-up unit for range and accuracy, which can be quickly adjusted when accessed behind the mock bolt plate when the charging handle is to the rear. The hop-up unit adds range and accuracy to guns by adding a small amount of spin to the BB as it travels down the barrel to displace air, giving each round better stability to allow it to travel further. The adjuster is of a radial design, allowing more acculturate and concise adjustment allowing a wide range of BB weights to be used.

Internally the replica has KWA's stamp of quality, with their own modified V2 style gearbox, also known as the 2.5 AEG gearbox, which is designed with many advanced features not seen in other replicas. The gearbox features a quick change spring system, as well as a variable fps system, which are both easy to access and adjust. To adjust the FPS you simply unscrew the cover cap inside the battery storage compartment and then use the extended Allen key to adjust to requirement. If you push in and rotate the second cover the whole spring guide is released out the rear of the gearbox so the entire spring can be replaced in one go. The gearbox shell itself is reinforced to help prevent cracking under stress giving the gearbox shell a longer life, and features a cut out allowing you to install many aftermarket trigger board units. As standard with KWA, the standard parts are also high quality, with an impressive 18:1 gear set and 9mm ball bearings.

Special Instructions

To lock the mock bolt plate back to adjust the hop up easily first pull the charging handle to the rear, then push the bolt catch upwards to catch.

Before inserting an (empty) magazine always make sure that the follower is not sticking out, as this can cause damage on insertion. Only place loaded magazines into the gun, or if you're going to dry fire ensure you push down the follower before inserting it into the replica.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
