- Sawn-off style
- M-LOK style handguard
- Shell ejecting - Realistic & super fun
If you want to ride a Harley Fatboy into your next Airsoft skirmish in some futuristic alternative timeline quoting something along the lines of "I'll be back." then this lever action shotgun is exactly what you need. It's a more modern take on the Winchester 1887, boasting quality-of-life upgrades such as an M-LOK handguard and shotgun bead-style iron sites.

Each shell can hold 1-3 BBs, meaning you have the choice of a shotgun-like spread or loading a single BB for more accurate and long-range shots. This lever-action is equipped with a fixed stock made from real wood, an aggressive muzzle choke and a 2-shell holder making it a fantastic CQB platform for future wasteland load-outs and space-age Cowboys.
If you have unique tastes and enjoy watching the shells tumble on the ground every time you rack the lever, the Golden Eagle M1887 Gas Shell Ejecting Lever-Action Shotgun; Space Shorty will give you the thrilling, unique experience you crave!

Description
If you need a new compact shotgun with a generous side of fun and a serving of realism, this Space Shorty shotgun should be right up your alley! This lever action shotgun is based on the Sawed-off Winchester 1887 with a cut-out trigger guard, it boasts full metal construction and a gorgeous real wood stock. The realism is impeccable, the fun is off the charts and this gun is absolutely awesome!
The Space Shorty feeds from realistic shotgun shells which hold 1-3 BBs and are loaded through the action when opened, just like the real thing. After shooting, rack the lever and watch the spent shell tumble out, just like a real M1887 Shotgun. Being a shell-ejecting shotgun, capacity is limited to 3+1, making use of the magazine tube, but for a certain type of tactical Airsofter, this is only a bonus! If you love a realistic experience in-game and appreciate a rarely-seen platform, the Golden Eagle M1887 Gas Shell Ejecting Lever-Action Shotgun; Space Shorty belongs in your arsenal!
Starting at the front you will find an extremely aggressive muzzle choke. In the real world, this would be perfect for breaching doors, in Airsoft, it looks awesome! The choke is attached via threading, however, it is an extremely large diameter and not common in Airsoft so we cannot recommend any alternative muzzle devices such as tracer units.
On top of the barrel, we find a traditional shotgun bead sight. This simple, no-fuss front-sight post is perfect for easily lining up your shots, is the bead on the enemy? If yes then pull the trigger. This bead works wonderfully with the rear ghost ring sight, allowing you to figure out some precision at a longer range than you would expect.
Below the barrel, we find the magazine tube, providing the 3+1 shell capacity previously mentioned. The set includes 3 shells, allowing you to safely carry them without a shell in the chamber. To load the magazine tube, open the action by racking the lever back and insert each shell into the lifter, pushing the lifter down and the shell into the magazine tube, just below the chamber. This is quite a complex loading process and there is potential you may get Garand Thumb if you do it wrong, make sure to be careful!
Surrounding the outer barrel and magazine tube we find the main futuristic addition made to this M1887 platform, an M-LOK handguard. This opens up this platform to a plethora of customisation options, lasers, grips or shell holders at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, make it unique and make it yours! There is also a QD point at the front of the handguard. The Space Shorty comes pre-equipped with a hand stop on the bottom of the handguard, making racking and loading a breeze.
There is also an 18cm section of 20mm Picatinny rail that sits atop the outer barrel, allowing you a different mounting option for attaching scopes or RunCams. However, due to the front bead sight being fixed, you will have to work around it whilst mounting your sights. Add a massive sniper scope and you can have yourself a devastating long-range, lever action, shell-ejecting sniper rifle, that uses shotgun shells, talk about unique!
Moving rearwards, we come to the receiver which is devoid of controls other than the action lever and trigger. The sides of the receiver include screws and pins in all the correct spots, along with an engraved logo on the left side for maximum authenticity. Up top, you will find the ejection/loading port, and down below you will find the trigger and standard action lever. The standard lever can accommodate gloved users but we recommend not trying any spin-cocking, Terminator 2 style, unless Arnold himself is showing you his magic technique.
The gas reservoir of the M1887 is well concealed inside the action and is accessible with the hammer un-cocked and the action open. With the action open, you will see the fill valve hiding behind the lever, but only when the hammer is un-cocked. If you're struggling to find it contact us and we will help you out!
Last up, we come to the stock which is set at a slight downward angle to allow a clean sight picture along the top of the barrel, and, of course, is constructed from a gorgeous real wood to complete the look. The "semi-pistol grip" configuration of the stock is rather comfortable whether it is held with the left or right hand. Being a sawed-off example, this is where the stock ends, keeping the platform short and sweet.
Overall, the Space Shorty is a real blast to operate, with a menacing muzzle report and a positively awesome noise when you work the action. While it is strictly a CQB tool, the M1887 does have an adjustable HOP-up unit which can be adjusted using the included flag tool. The tool looks a bit like a shell with a protruding flag, to make adjustments, insert the tool into the chamber with the flag pointing upwards and rotate it to adjust your HOP.
If you want to challenge yourself at your next skirmish, or you want an absolutely awesome platform for the fun factor, the Golden Eagle M1887 Gas Shell Ejecting Lever-Action Shotgun; Space Shorty is the best choice for you! This unique platform is sure to turn heads and get your peers talking about how cool your platform is compared to a boring M4. Watching the shells fly out of the receiver as you dominate the playing field is a feeling that can't be explained, but cannot be beaten for sure!

Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
