CYMA CM.513 M4 SD RIS Suppressed

CYMA
Code:
101.99

This Airsoft M4 is constructed from Lightweight Polymer, and features Alloy Internals and a Rear Wired V2 Gearbox. The gun features many useful parts, when compared to the Standard M4A1 Platform, such as a Four Point RIS Rail Handguard, Suppressor and Flip-Up Iron Sights. A great starter rifle for getting into Airsoft.

    Description

Our current batch of CYMA Sport AEGs are supplied with a USB Charger and an 8.4V 1100mAh NiMh Battery. While these items are perfectly functional, we recommend using a 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo battery and a LiPo Balance Charger for faster charging times, a longer lasting battery and improved peformance. A brief reminder never to leave your battery on charge unattended and always use a Battery Safe Charging Bag

For an entry level rifle to get you skirmishing look no further than the CM.513 M4 RIS Suppressed from CYMA. The AEG comes out of the box sporting a 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel, rotary HOP unit, and remarkable shot-to-shot consistency, pointing to a well-tuned gearbox and also providing excellent accuracy and with it's compact, shortened design it's perfect for some CQB (close quarters battle) action.

The front of the M4 features a suppressor attached to the outer barrel, which hides the Tightbore 6.03mm inner barrel. This suppressor makes for a professional and stealthy spec-ops look and can even be removed and replaced with any 14mm CCW compatible muzzle device, such as a tracer unit, or sound amplifier.

Surrounding the outer barrel  the Four Point Handrail features a Handguard with 20mm RIS / RAS Rail at the Top, Bottom, Left and Right, with the option to attach a range of Grips, Bipods, Launchers, Torches, Lasers and Sights, allowing for lots of aftermarket configuration to suit every taste and mission requirement, keeping your loadout options flexible.

Flip-up iron sights come pre-installed and are polymer sights featuring windage and elevation adjustment. These sights mount to the 20mm Picatinny rail on the top of the handguard and receiver and can be removed easily or swapped for any 20mm Picatinny compatible iron sights, a Red dot sight, or another optical sight of your choice.

The receiver of the M4 is constructed from high density polymer, providing scratch resistance and keeping it lightweight, while still delivering excellent performance on the field.

The controls are optimised for right-handed use, though they can be used by lefties with a bit of practice.

On the right side of the AEG the magazine release can be located and is textured to ensure the button is easily pressed for those much needed fast reloads.

The upper receiver also features a rounded extension with a metal button at the end. This is known as the forward assist, and is a solely aesthetic feature of an Airsoft AEG, adding to the realism of the M4.

The pistol grip is an ergonomic type featuring texturing on the sides and front, and a refined middle finger extrusion and grip angle to facilitate using the M4 with the most modern, cutting edge shooting stances.

Moving over to the left side of the receiver we can find familiar M4 controls, with the mock bolt catch sitting dead centre and the fire selector being positioned above the pistol grip, within reach of the user's thumb. The mock bolt catch provides no function, but is a nice addition for realism, being metal and a separate part. The fire selector provides 3 positions; SAFE, SEMI and AUTO, and has a 90-degree throw between positions. The SAFE position provides a trigger lock, preventing the AEG from being fired unless the selector is in the SEMI or AUTO positions.

In order to access the rifle's rotary HOP chamber, the charging handle must be pulled back and held to the rear. This will move the realistic mock bolt carrier backward, revealing the HOP adjuster. The rotary HOP design is one of the latest innovations for the M4/AR15 platform, and provides excellent stability and retains its setting reliably. The charging handle can be found at the top rear of the receiver, and features an extended latch, ensuring you won't have trouble getting at your HOP adjuster in the heat of battle.

Moving on the rear of the AEG we find the Stock, a crane-enhanced carbine style design. With it being adjustable it allows the length of the M4 to be adjusted to suit the user of any body type, and also doubles up as the battery storage area.

The battery compartment of the CM.513 can be found inside the buffer tube and is accessible with the stock removed. This can be achieved by lifting the stock adjustment lever, found on the bottom of the stock, and pulling it out as far as it will go, then sliding the stock off the buffer tube to the rear. Alternatively, you can remove the butt plate by squeezing the two tabs at the toe of the stock together, after which you can lift the butt plate off, remove the battery plug, and make use of the stock to house a nunchuck/crane style battery. The CM.513 is equipped with a Tamiya battery connector, offering a low resistance and high-efficiency alternative to the usual mini-Tamiya connector found on Airsoft AEGs.

This stock allows up to a 9.6v Ni-Mh Crane Stock Battery to be fit, potentially giving you the ability to keep laying down fire all day without stopping.

Internally the CM.513 is packing a metal version 2 gearbox with 8mm bushings to promote smooth running and low friction, giving you a long-lasting gearbox with no unnecessary frills which can go wrong down the line. The gearbox is compatible with any upgrade parts for the venerable version 2 M4/AR15 gearbox, so if you want to install upgrades later down the line it is possible with the right technical knowledge.

This rifle is the perfect purchase for anyone new to Airsoft skirmishing, or even for regular skirmishers who are looking for a reliable backup weapon should they need to switch out, and with it's compact lightweight design it's perfect for those CQB requiring a rifle that can be wielded in those tight spots, but can also be used for longer range more open skirmishes.

    Special Instructions

Please note, the buffer tube sling plate on the CM.513 is constructed from polymer and we do not recommend using it as it may not be up to the task of supporting the weight of the AEG, especially with a single-point sling. We recommend using the sling slots on the stock and pairing them with the front sling point on the front sight/gas block to mount a two-point sling.

    Recommended Battery

For this rifle we recommend a 7.4v LiPo with Tamiya connector in stick or crane stock configuration.

    Special Instructions

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

lovely bit of kit, the paint finish by the guys is brilliant and smooth. It arrived smack on the delivery estimate I was given before I even bought it on the website. I've put some heavier BBs my friend hand (0.28g) and it shoots fantasticly
