Description

The main body of the weapon is primarily an AK74u, but with the addition of a front Four Point 20mm RIS / RAS Rail. The replacement Hand guard stands as a great addition to the already great platform as it allows you to attach Dots and other Sights to the Top Rail, Torches and Lasers to the Sides and Grips and Bipods to the bottom, allowing a wider range of customisation to fit the user's needs. The weapon features a Safe / Semi / Full Auto fire select which help in preventing accidentally switching to full auto during a heated fire fight. The weapon features a mock Charging Handle / Bolt Plate which can be pulled back to reveal the Alloy Hop-Up Unit. The Hop-Up unit is adjustable via a sliding tab, and is designed to add backspin to the round increasing accuracy. The Hop-Up unit is adjustable to allow the user to modify the amount of spin dependent on the weight of their BB, to specifically tailor the setting to the ammunition used. The weapon features a left side Scope Mount plate, allowing Scopes or Rail Mounts to be added, allowing the use of larger and longer Scopes. The barrel of the weapon features a removable 14mm CCW Flash Hider, which can be removed to allow the user to attach a range of Silencers and Suppressors to give the weapon a more unique look. The Stock folds, allowing for easier transportation, and even locks in place to prevent it swinging during movement. Internally the weapon features a V3 gearbox, the standard type for all Airsoft AK AEG, with a 290mm 6.08mm Inner Barrel, Alloy Components, and a fused battery cable. This is the perfect purchase for any Airsoft Skirmisher who likes the look of AK Style weapons, but still wants the ability to customise the look of their weapon with attachments and have a more modern look.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

I own the real wood version and based on its use on a large number of game days decided to get its tactical sister. Cyma are no TM, Krytac or other premium brand and so the build quality can be a little less, which you will notice over time but this is an obvious quibble as you are not paying TM or Krytac prices. In fact you can buy this and accessorise the whole thing for less then a TM purchase. And it works, it fires BBs with good range and accuracy, it holds up in the dirt, it looks the business and doesn't fail. Why spend more.
