If you love the John Wick look but want to skirmish in the cold, this is the JW3 pistol you need! The EMG CM.138 TTI JW3 Hi-Capa Combat Master AEP boasts official licencing from Taran Tactical Innovation which, of course, means gorgeous authentic TTI trademarks across the design. Being an AEP, this JW3 does not have a moving slide and is powered by an internal battery, meaning solid cold-weather performance keeping it on the field long after GBBs have gone into hibernation!

As much a looker as the GBB version, the JW3 AEP is internally based around the Tokyo Marui AEP gearbox design, enhanced with steel gears running on steel ball-bearing bushings. This improves trigger response and rate of fire while giving the JW3 a much smoother firing noise than other AEPs, not to mention a longer lifespan due to reduced stress on the gearbox shell.

Also inside is CYMA's AEP MOSFET, allowing 7.4V LiPo batteries to be used for a genuinely competitive semi-auto response rate and respectable full-auto fire rate, ideal for snipers looking for a compact and reliable backup platform or pistol aficionados wanting to skirmish to full effect without worrying about GBB cool-down in winter. If you're still wearing your tux when the frost sets in, the EMG CM.138 TTI JW3 Hi-Capa Combat Master AEP belongs in your holster!

Description

If you don't want to put your JW3 GBB pistol down while the weather warms up, the EMG CM.138 TTI JW3 Hi-Capa Combat Master AEP is what you need! Rocking the same slick TTI looks as the GBB version with official Taran Tactical Innovations licencing from EMG, the JW3 AEP is equipped with a metal slide with adjustable light-enhancing iron sights and all the slick handling upgrades which made the real steel TTI Combat Master such a saught-after platform in the real steel world.

The JW3 AEP is based around Tokyo Marui's AEP gearbox design, enhanced by CYMA Platinum with steel gears running on steel ball-bearing bushings and the CYMA AEP MOSFET. The MOSFET allows 7.4V AEP LiPo batteries to be used for a significant rate of fire and trigger response advantage compared to standard AEPs, perfect for snipers needing a compact full-auto sidearm or John Wick fans wanting to run a Baba Yaga sidearm all year round!

Starting at the front, we can find the intimidatingly wide barrel bore with mock rifling inside. While this barrel is slightly wider than the real JW3 it is well-proportioned with the slide, giving the enemy a realistic view as you send them back to respawn! The barrel is unfortunately not threaded, meaning tracer units and suppressors cannot be mounted without an aftermarket adapter.

Moving rearwards, we come to the slide which is a perfect match for the real thing, boasting front and rear slide serrations, stylish vent ports and laser-engraved Taran Tactical Innovations trademarks to complete the JW3 look. While the slide cannot be racked in this Airsoft AEP, the slide serrations are very well-machined and even include the gloss-finished sections in the same places as the real thing. The chamber also includes authentic recessed 9x19 calibre markings, just like the real deal!

The iron sights are located on the top of the slide, taking the form of a fixed front sight post with a red light-enhancing insert and an adjustable rear sight with anti-glare serrations. These sights are a very modern choice and fantastic for both snap shooting in low light and taking more precise shots thanks to the full adjustability of the rear sight. To adjust the rear sight you will need a flathead screwdriver and elevation is adjustable via the large screw on the top, with windage adjustments applied via the smaller screw on the right side of the rear sight. Adjustable sights are definitely a rarity on an AEP, as is the light-enhancing front sight!

Moving down to the frame, we can find a 20mm Picatinny rail at the front, ready for a tactical flashlight or laser aiming module. This is a full Picatinny-style rail, meaning you'll have no issues mounting what you need to complete the mission thanks to the multiple mount position options provided by its full teeth. Following on from the frame rail, we come to the trigger guard which has a reduced profile at the bottom intended to allow for a higher grip. The reduced profile section is known as a "trigger guard undercut" and is shaped to fit the shooter's hand, ensuring your grip is consistent and repeatable.

The grip itself includes mock stipple texture which is a close match for the real JW3, keeping the pistol firmly in your grasp whatever the weather. The magazine release is on the left side, an enlarged design allowing for easy and fast reloads; a feature derived from the real Combat Master's intended use as a competition shooting pistol. The magazine itself is a Hi-Capa AEP style magazine which inserts through the detailed mock magazine, ensuring the styling is consistent with the real thing despite this pistols electric power source. Mag compatibility-wise, the CM.138 is compatible with CM.128 Hi-Capa AEP magazines but should also work with some other AEP magazines, though they will most likely be too short to insert easily mid-firefight.

The battery is stored beneath the slide in this JW3 AEP and is accessible with the slide removed. To achieve this, simply push the mock slide lock/release down, push the slide forward just a couple of millimetres and lift it free. Underneath the barrel, you'll find a mini-Deans battery connector to which you mount the included 7.4V 500mAh LiPo battery. A USB battery charger is also included in the set but we recommend using this with a battery-safe charging bag. Regardless of whether you use the included charger, the battery MUST be charged using a LiPo balance charger with the balance cable connected.

Inside, we have a TM-style AEP gearbox equipped with pre-upgraded parts, including steel ball-bearing bushings to reduce friction, enhance cyclic speed and extend the lifespan of the gearbox shell. The pre-installed MOSFET enhances electrical efficiency and provides cycle completion, ensuring you don't get gearbox lock-ups when shooting rapid semi-auto. The result is a seriously snappy AEP; ideal for those who don't want to go without a pistol in cold weather or snipers seeking a compact and lightweight sidearm with full auto ready to go!

If you're a John Wick addict looking for a sidearm for cold weather, the EMG CM.138 TTI JW3 Hi-Capa Combat Master AEP was made with you in mind! Boasting the same elite looks as the JW3 GBB while being immune to cooldown and packing full auto to keep the enemy at bay, this JW3 excels in its niche!

Special Instructions

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
