Full description

Description

The M90 range by double eagle offers an inexpensive and high-quality range of modern AR-15's for all Airsoft players. The replicas are constructed from a high-grade alloy and reinforced polymer, making for an extra ergonomic platform for ease of use/handling. Fitted with a new-age M-LOK handguard, a TS2 style stock and internally adorned with the latest in airsoft technology the DE M90 range is an all-around ready to go replica series suited to any and all players.

Starting at the muzzle, we can find an alloy SF style 3 prong flash hider/muzzle device, which attaches to the 14mm CCW male threads on the tip of the alloy 8 inch outer barrel. Surrounding the outer barrel you will find a URX style M-LOK handguard, a weight reducing design with plenty of space to add Picatinny rail or M-LOK accessories which also features two QD sling sockets at the receiver end. The flip up iron sights can be found pre-installed on the upper Picatinny rail section of the handguard. These require manually deploying but are spring-assisted, meaning flipping the sights up or down takes less than a second.  The iron sights are made from high density polymer which helps keep the overall build light but effective. Both front and rear sight are fully adjustable without tools, and also provide low profile emergency pistol sights when folded down. The rear sight provides two apertures for aiming; a large aperture for CQB and close range, and a fine aperture for precise long range shots.

The receiver is an ambidextrous AR15 pattern, with the mock ejection port present on the right side of the receiver complete with shell deflector and mock forward assist. The receiver features weight-reducing cuts throughout, keeping the build lightweight whilst giving it a modern aesthetic, adding some unique flare to the common AR15 receiver. The mock bolt carrier can be locked to the rear by pulling the ambidextrous charging handle, revealing the rotary HOP unit for adjustment. The mock bolt carrier can then be released either with the standard "ping pong paddle" on the left side of the receiver or with the ambidextrous extension on the right side, above and to the rear of the magazine catch. The magazine release is also present on either side, and is protected by a "mag catch fence" to prevent accidentally releasing the magazine. The mag releases appear where you might expect, on the mag well in perfect reach of the trigger finger, whether your strong hand is your left or right hand. The ambidextrous fire selector is a familiar AR15 type 3-position switch, allowing safe/semi/auto to be selected when the Falcon FCS is set to default. The selector markings are laser engraved into the receiver on the right side and use pictogram-style markings to indicate the fire mode. The trigger of the M907C is a flat type with an acute curve at the tip, allowing a speedy trigger pull whilst preventing your finger from slipping off. The front face of the trigger is smooth, preventing you from wearing your fingerprints off whilst taking advantage of the M907C's fast trigger response. At the rear of the receiver, we can find two QD sling sockets cast into the design, keeping the rifle's sling options in line with its ambidextrous nature whilst preventing the need for a buffer tube sling point and the additional weight which comes with it. The pistol grip is an ergonomic design, matching the MOE grip in angle and shape but with added texturing on either side to keep the rifle firmly in the shooter's grasp, regardless of the weather conditions. The buffer tube is a standard M4/AR15 6 position tube which is fully compatible with aftermarket stocks intended for buffer tube mounting. The supplied stock is a close replica of the TS2 stock, providing an ultra-sleek design intended to minimize the potential for snagging whilst providing a rubberized, angled butt plate for stability. The stock includes a further 4 QD sling sockets, providing even more options when setting up your sling. The stock slider button is a protected trigger type, preventing accidental knocks and bumps from messing with your stock setting and keeping the design ultra-low profile. The receiver also features engraved markings, reading " FALCON Fire Control System" across the left side of the upper receiver, and "DOUBLE EAGLE 5.56mm" along with a DE logo on the left side of the magazine well. These engravings are very crisp and subtle, keeping in tune with the rifle's overall aesthetic.

Though the externals are gorgeously done, the magic truly happens inside the M907C. Double Eagle's own FALCON EFCS Fire Control System comes pre-installed in the rifles version.2 gearbox. Usually only seen in custom builds and high-end AEGs this feature is a welcome inclusion, allowing for 1-5 round burst mode, a binary trigger, as well as various wiring and battery protection features to boot. The 1-5 round burst mode and binary trigger settings can also be set at the same time, with binary being used to replace semi-auto mode, and 1-5 round burst replacing the full auto mode. The fire control system is designed to be used with Li-Po batteries and prevents the replica from firing when it detects a current draw spike, or if the battery voltage is too low. Please note that an 11.1v LiPo is only recommended by the manufacturer on the grounds that the replica is firing above 390FPS. As your AEG will be firing at less than this out of the box, please avoid the use of an 11.1v Battery. The EFCS fire control system can be programmed using simple trigger pulls and requires no external tools, special adapters or a PC to function. For more information please see the Special Instructions Section.

The M907C features an up-to-date rotary HOP unit, which sports full compatibility with aftermarket AEG HOP buckings and nubs. The rotary design allows the level of backspin to be adjusted easily, and prevents the setting from being unwinding under vibration from firing. The inner barrel is of a standard AEG type, allowing it to easily be replaced with a tight bore aftermarket barrel should you want to increase the accuracy potential of your M90 rifle.

As well equipped externally as it is internally, the Double Eagle M907C really is an unexpected advancement at this price point. Offering an advanced FCS, modern rotary HOP unit and top quality externals, Double Eagle's M90 series are hot on the heels of the high end manufacturers! If you are looking for an advanced, high-performance and affordable AEG without peers as your next gun, look no further!

Further Information

Special Instructions

Please note that the gun's EFCS system is only compatible with LiPo Batteries, and is not compatible with LiFe or NiMh batteries.

Please note that both binary fire and burst modes can be set, as binary fire is applied to semi, and 1-5 fire mode is applied to full auto.

Please note that fitting the supplied deans connector will constitute a modification of the replica, and if you carry out this modification you will not be able to return your replica.

FALCON EFCS Protection Feature

Gearbox Protection

When the current is too high or abnormal the power supply on the EFCS will disconnect to protect the motor and battery, and the motor will vibrate three times.

If the voltage of the battery is too high the EFCS power supply will automatically disconnect and the motor will vibrate twice.

Battery Protection

The FALCON EFCS has an operating voltage between 6-13v. If the voltage is too low or too high the power supply will be cut. If the voltage of your battery is too low, the FALCON will notify the user via 5 vibrations, then cut the power to protect your battery.

Vibration Description

  • 1 - Power On
  • 2 - System Error
  • 3 - Voltage too high
  • 5 - Low Voltage

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
