The mag can be loaded through the feed lips at the top using a speed loader or by hand, though this is much easier if you pull the follower on the front down to relieve spring pressure. The gas fill valve is concealed beneath the stamped steel baseplate; simply lift the bottom section of the follower up and slide the baseplate off to the rear to access the valve. Loading the BattleMag is the same process as other Airsoft mid-caps; through the fill/feed port on the top of the magazine body using an Airsoft speed loader or loading tool.
