Delta Armory 2x40 Fixed Power Red/Green Dot Sight; Railed

If you need a clearer view of your target to get the job done but don't want the weight of a full-sized rifle scope, the Delta Armory 2x40 Fixed Power Red/Green Dot Sight; Railed should fit the bill. This red dot sight offers 2x zoom with very impressive eye relief, making it ideal for "scout rifle" type setups and those who want a bit more long-range visibility for woodland skirmishes. 

Based on the railed 1x30 red dot sight with a 40mm front lens extension to provide extra magnification, the 2x40 Fixed Power Railed has superb eye relief, meaning your eye does not need to be an inch from the ocular lens to see through the optic clearly. This allows it to be forward mounted in "Scout" configuration and gives you plenty of flexibility in your stance when shooting, unlike conventional rifle scopes. 

Surrounding the exterior housing, we are treated to 20mm Picatinny rails machined in. This allows lasers, backup micro red dot sights and any other 20mm Picatinny accessories to be mounted directly to the sight housing, saving you space on your handguard. The railed exterior also gives the 2x40 Fixed Power Railed a unique and modern look, a fantastic optic for any build which requires unconventional and futuristic styling. 

On the left side, you will find the illumination adjustment dial which doubles as the battery compartment, offering 5 levels of brightness adjustment and the choice of either a red or green dot reticle. The choice of red or green lets you set the reticle colour which stands out best against your operating environment, and 5 brightness levels for each colour allow you to adjust to get the clearest and crispest ringed dot reticle in any ambient lighting conditions. 

To install your battery, simply unscrew the top cap of the illumination dial and install your CR2032 3V button cell (included) inside with the positive terminal facing upwards. With this done, reinstall the cap, select your colour and brightness settings and you're good to go!

Zero adjustment is present in the form of a pair of capped adjustment turrets, one on the top and one on the left side of the optic. The top turret controls elevation, and the left side adjusts windage. To apply your adjustments, unscrew the cap of each turret and use a flathead screwdriver to turn the internal dial until the reticle aligns with your point of impact. With your adjustment complete and your sights dead on, screw the turret caps back on to keep dirt and debris out!
