Description

The Cyber Gun Auto Ordnance 1911 is a Gas Blowback Pistol that is constructed to an amazing standard, using full Alloy for the externals, with the exception of the Pistol Grips, which are made with Real Wood. Each of the three Pistols in this range feature their own custom external design, but all of the Pistols revolve around a riveted/welded sheet steel plate effect that looks amazing. The Pistol Grips have been laser cut with a diamond pattern to improve grip and aesthetics. All the raised edges on these Pistols have been rubbed down to start showing silver through, which helps define the overall profile and makes them exceptionally nice and display pieces, but also have the performance to be used as a skirmishing pistol. If the weathering effect isn't extreme enough for you, a strip of sandpaper is included in the box to add your own touch to the metal.

As for external features, this Pistol operates as you would expect from any other 1911, with a Beavertail Safety that ensures the Pistol can't be fired unless you're gripping it properly. A Slide Lock Safety can be found at the top to lock off the Trigger and physically prevent the Slide from cycling. The Barrel Release button is functional, and can be used to easily remove the Barrel and Guide Rod through the front of the Slide rather than painstakingly trying to fish it out from the underside of the Slide. A Lanyard Loop can be found on the base of the Pistol Grip, as an extra layer of safety should your Pistol jump out of your Holster for whatever reason.

An Adjustable Hop Unit can be found once you have removed the Slide from the Frame. To do this, simply line up the Slide Release notch with the smaller of the two cutouts on the Frame, push the Slide Release out from the opposite side of the Pistol and the Slide should slide off the front of the Frame. From here you can access the Gear Wheel to adjust the HOP and apply backspin to your BB.

The Magazine is a single stack Gas Powered 1911 magazine with a low profile Baseplate that sits flush with the base of the Pistol Grip, and holds a total of 15rnds. Due to the Magazine being so thin, these Pistols are ideally suited to warmer Summer days, but can still be operated in Winter should you try to limit Magazine capacity. The Magazine can be filled with BBs by forcing them through the Feed Lips, or holding down the Follower and insert BBs at the fill hole near the bottom of the Magazine.

If you're looking for an absolutely stunning display piece, or a period-replica that is happy to play in regular skirmish or in themed re-enactment events, then the Cyber Gun Auto Ordnance 1911 is a great choice.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
