Description
The Battleaxe SVD Wood Conversion Kit includes a wooden handguard and a wooden stock. They match perfectly with each other and elevate your spring-powered Dragunov SVD's aesthetic, making it indistinguishable from the real thing! This conversion kit is designed only for spring-powered SVDs and will not fit on electric Dragunovs, due to the battery compartment being in the handguard.
Both parts have been finished in a varnish coating, to protect the wood from the elements and to provide a similar look to real Dragunov wooden furniture. The stock features the iconic sling point, a steel tube that sits at the rear of the stock within the skeletonised part. The steel construction ensures that it has the strength to support the weight of an SVD.
The handguard features vent ports to match the real Dragunov handguard, although they aren't needed on an Airsoft handguard, keeping true to the real steel variants is still very much appreciated by those who like to look like the real deal. The handguard shape is very comfortable to grip, allowing both a close-in target grip and an aggressive elbow-locked C-clamp grip depending on preference.
