The Arrow Dynamics Panzerfaust 40mm MOSCART Grenade Launcher is one of a kind, bringing a forgotten WW2 platform to the world of Airsoft. It is an unusual platform to see in the Airsoft world and would certainly be difficult to skirmish, but we would love to see you try it!

Usually, when brands make WW2 replicas, they focus on the iconic real wood rifles like the Kar98k or Lee Enfield, and if not, they go for the classic SMGs like the PPSH or MP40. Arrow Dynamics has completely flipped that stereotype on its head, delivering a replica of a launcher that most people had forgotten about due to its bigger brother, the Panzerschreck, taking the spotlight in modern media as the go-to German rocket launcher.

Description

The Panzerfaust was a German anti-armour missile launcher, designed for dealing with vehicles during WW2. Although it is rather unusual in its appearance and colour, this did not impede the real steel launcher's performance. It was extremely effective against tanks and armoured vehicles, launching devastating grenades which would melt through the thick metal of the vehicles.

It was a popular choice for German infantry as it was inexpensive to produce, easy to use and very effective against armoured targets. The only downside is that it was supplied with only a single unit of ammunition, however, this makes sense due to the sheer size of the grenade fired from the tube. Initially, it only had a maximum range of 30 metres, luckily, later models were produced which increased the maximum effective range up to 150 metres!

Looking at the Airsoft replica, it's easy to tell that this is a replica of the German launcher, the silhouette matches nearly perfectly, making this a great wall hanger for those who like more unusual WW2-related platforms. Starting at the front, we find the fake grenade. This is fixed to the tube, unlike the real launcher. It features a small metal iron sight on the top, perfect for absolutely nothing as who would ever need to aim with this!

To load the Panzerfaust, point it in front of you and twist the front of the grenade clockwise, you will then be able to remove it. Your MOSCART grenade slides into the part you removed, once inserted, you can reattach the front part of the Panzerfaust. The replica is now loaded and should be treated as such, all safety rules must be followed.

The firing mechanism is also very unique, requiring you to pull out the pin at the front of the tube, then lift up your iron sights, take aim and press down on the peddle-like lever. This will activate the mechanism that pushes a little pin into your MOSCART shell, making it fire plenty of BBs in a short range.

That's about all it takes to make this Panzerfaust fire, a very simple mechanism almost identical to the real launcher, except the grenade was the shell and not the MOSCART in the shell. Just remember to remove the front cap before firing, otherwise, you're going to end up very disappointed when you want to blast someone.

The Panzerfaust is covered in plenty of German writing, including some instructions on the grenade on how to fire and also "Feuer" (fire) on the peddle trigger, just in case you forget! This replica is beautifully unique and a change of pace compared to the common M4s and AR-10s seen everywhere on the market. These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
