Army Armament R28 1911 MEU Pistol

The front of the pistol features a threaded outer barrel allowing you to attach a wide variety of aftermarket pistol suppressors and tracer units with the use of the included pistol thread adaptor (DARK EARTH AND GREY VARIANTS ONLY). The top of the pistol features integrated iron sights which feature light enhancing green dots making it easier to shoot in low-light conditions, and are raised high enough to allow the use of silencers and suppressors. The lower of the pistol features a 20mm RIS / RAS pistol rail allowing the attachment of Torches, Lasers, and even launchers, allowing you to use the same torches you use on your main rifle on your sidearm as well.

Moving along the pistol you'll find a weight saving trigger that is pleasant to use and has a discernible break point, textured grips that give you the best hold even when wearing gloves and the usual beavertail and slide lock safety you would expect to see on any 1911 variant.

Internally the pistol features an adjustable Airsoft hop-up unit which is designed to add range and accuracy to the gun. The hop-up works by pushing a small rubber contact in the path of the BB before it travels down the barrel to impart back-spin on the BB. This spin creates an air pocket around the front of the bb allowing it to have a longer and more stable flight path. The hop-up can be adjusted to a wide range of BB weights allowing both low and high weight BBs to be used.

Special Instructions

Please note that like all other Green Gas 1911s, you will need to keep the magazine warm to get consistent performance. Firing the weapon too fast, using insufficient gas, neglecting to lubricate the weapon and continuous hard use will result in poor performance.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
