The Mk2 version is the latest iteration of the SSG96, boasting a new TDC HOP-up unit with toolless adjustment, a straight fluted barrel, spiral fluted bolt and side folding stock. All of the Novritsch improvements in the original SSG96 are present in the latest version, including a left/right swappable bolt handle, CNC machined receiver and fibre-reinforced high density polymer chassis.
On the inside, the Novritsch SSG96 is pre-upgraded with a plethora of high strength steel parts. These include steel trigger sears to allow for super strong springs, a stainless steel cylinder for perfect air seal and a stainless steel spring guide to complete the robust internal setup. The HOP-up rubber is provided by Maple Leaf, offering supreme accuracy and range, and the inner barrel is stabilised inside the outer barrel using a pair of spacers; an essential aspect of a high-performance sniper rifle.
