The GATE ASTER™
The GATE ASTER™ V2 is the younger brother of the well-known TITAN™ V2. As the world's first 4th generation AEG Control System, the ASTER™ is designed for most AEGs with a V2 gearbox on the market, including stock, low- and mid-tuned AEGs and even for high-tuned guns when using the EXPERT firmware. The GATE ASTER™ was designed to achieve maximum reliability at an attractive price as an alternative to the more complex and expensive TITAN™ MOSFET.
Transform your AEG by replacing the trigger contacts with a computerized controller equipped with innovative optical sensors, including a proximity trigger sensor which offers even 250 sensitivity settings. The GATE ASTER™ offers a unique opportunity to gain a tactical advantage thanks to an extremely fast trigger response and lots of other useful functions. The ASTER even has its own specific Gate CNC trigger designed to interact with its optical sensors, known as the Quantum.
The ASTER's smart fuse protects your AEG’s battery, motor, and the controller itself, even in case of reverse battery connection. This feature, along with the optical sensors, makes the ASTER™ the most durable drop-in unit on the market. You choose how to configure the ASTER™ – simply via the trigger or through USB-Link / Blu-Link* and GATE's GCS (GATE Control Station) App. To enjoy the full potential of the ASTER™, you can upgrade its firmware to ADVANCED or EXPERT.
What does the ASTER™ MOSFET do?

- No modification of the gearbox shell needed, even in the case of ICS and KRYTAC (ASTER Revision 1 requires the bolt catch lever to be removed when used with a KRYTAC Gearbox. Newer ASTER revisions are fully compatible.)
- The optical gear cam sensor supports all types of gears: Infinite Torque-up, DSG, SSG, 19-tooth, and standard

AEGs with the GATE ASTER™ inside

Specna Arms SA-H22 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG
The SA-H22 is a long-barreled 416 style M4/AR15 variant with the legendary EDGE 2.0™ internals, including a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, the ORION™ reinforced gearbox, and of course, the Gate ASTER™ MOSFET.
The H22 boasts full metal construction and a 14.5-inch outer barrel, making it a perfect piece for woodland warfare, and its upgraded EDGE 2.0™ internals pair perfectly with the ASTER™ for a ferocious rate of fire and trigger response.
Specna Arms SA-H23 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG
The SA-H23 is the short-barreled variant of the H22, and offers the same ultra-modern external design aesthetic with a shorter 10.5-inch outer barrel, making it a great tool for close-quarters battle and an asset to a fast-moving aggressive player out in the woods.
Other than the length of its inner and outer barrel, the SA-H23 is identical in internals to the H22, offering the ORION™ gearbox, a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and a high torque motor. With the ASTER™ pre-installed, there is very little else to upgrade on the H23!
Specna Arms SA-H21 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG
The SA-H21 uses the same internals as the H22 but replicates the ever-recognisable original 416 with its 20mm quad Picatinny railed handguard. This makes the H21 a fine choice for a Milsim player, and its plethora of 20mm Picatinny rails means you can attach anything you need to compete to the H21 without the need for additional rail adapters.
You guessed it, the H21 is rocking the impressively equipped Specna Arms ORION™ gearbox, complete with a high torque motor, quick change spring system and reinforced steel gears running on 8mm ball bearing bushings. This is a brilliant feature set already, but with the ASTER™ in there, boy does this thing rip!
Specna Arms SA-H20 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG
Just like the H22/H23 relationship, the SA-H20 is the CQB variant of the H21 with a shortened 10.5-inch outer barrel, but the same highly functional quad railed handguard and exceptional internals, including the Gate ASTER™.
With full metal construction and Specna Arms' Nanocoating process applied to its metal parts, the H20 looks immaculate on the outside, and its precise 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and rotary HOP-up unit give it the poke to duke it out with the big boys at longer ranges despite its compact overall form!
Specna Arms SA-E12 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG
The SA-E12 rocks the same phenomenal EDGE 2.0™ internals but in a standard M4/AR15 receiver format with a 7-inch KeyMod handguard with pre-installed 20mm rail adapters and a 7.5-inch outer barrel, making this a lean, mean CQB machine!
Like the H series, the E12 and the other EDGE 2.0™ AEGs are constructed with the same exact proportions of metal to polymer as the real M4/AR15, making for a realistic handling experience that is hard to beat. Internally the SA-E12 has the same game-changing internals as the H series, making it one to watch on the field!
