The charger itself is a smart charger, meaning that the charger automatically charges and cuts off when the battery is full. Some cheaper low-end chargers do not support this meaning you have to work out how long to charge for, with this charger you can plug it in and not have to worry about when the battery is full, as the charger will cut off the power supply when it is full to prevent any damage to the batteries. As always, we recommend using a Battery Safe Charging Bag and never leaving your batteries on charge unattended.

If you are looking for a posh charger that isn't going to confuse you with a thousand different functions, the NUPROL Balance Charger Pro is the one! This charger works very similarly to other balance chargers but adds an LCD readout display so you can check cell capacity, and adjust the battery type and current settings via the button on the front of the charger.

The charger is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V Lithium batteries (LiPo, LiFe and Li-ion) and can also charge NiMH batteries with the included 4-pin balance to mini-Tamiya adapter cable. Battery status is indicated by 2 coloured L.E.Ds on the front of the charger body. The charger is packaged with a 2-pin AC adapter and a fused 3-pin UK plug adapter, and to connect the two is as simple as installing the 2-pin connector into the plug and tightening down the central screw with a Phillips head or Pozidriv screwdriver.
