Airsoft Inspiration; Mike's Custom Krytac CRB-M MK II
In today's Airsoft Inspiration blog, we're taking a deep dive into Mike's mighty fine Krytac CRB-M MK II. Upgraded and customised to the max; no section has been neglected or omitted from premium enhancements and professional fine-tuning. Mike is our social media manager and one of our in-house graphic designers. He is responsible for orchestrating a large portion of the entertaining content available on both our Instagram and YouTube accounts.
The Krytac CRB-M MK II is an exceptional AEG to build upon, often referred to as one of the best AEGs straight out of the box. This can be attributed to features such as its Aircraft Grade Aluminium Receiver, Nautilus Gearbox and 6.05mm inner barrel. These parts might be good, but clearly, they weren't close enough to perfection for Mike.
As well as providing Patrol Base UK with his flawlessly executed content ideas, Mike also enjoys skirmishing and thus decided to invest in his rifle to ensure battlefield domination is a breeze. It has been packed full of the best internals available, with the blessing of installation by the in-house Bolster Armouries team.
As shown in the diagram above, Mike has complemented his top-end internals with some stupendous externals. With a rifle of this quality in his hands, Mike quickly becomes a serious threat on the battlefield, approach with caution! Plenty of things to talk about with this rifle, so let's begin...
Starting at the front of this powerhouse platform, we find a PTS Dead Air Sandman-K. This gives Mike's Krytac a covert and tactical look, with the added benefit of some noise suppression so he can keep his operations clandestine whilst out on the battlefield. Situated next to the Dead Air we can find a WADSN Scout Light Pro, with this attachment on his ruinous rifle, Mike lights up his foes both figuratively and literally with a whopping 540 lumens! The incredible brightness assists him with navigation in low-light areas and to cheekily dazzle the enemy team as he breaches a room!
Moving rearwards we find Mike's optimal handguard attachments. He opts for both a vertical grip and a handstop, a genius decision that allows for a comfortable and secure grip in a variety of shooting stances. The polymer handstop is a low-profile, highly effective attachment, providing Mike with surgical precision on the battlefield due to the muscle memory of knowing exactly where his hand will be when he prepares to shoot. It also prevents clumsy mishaps such as his hand slipping off the handguard (no offence Mike, but we know what you're like!). The PTS EPF-M Foregrip is set behind the handstop and bestows Mike with superior handling whilst skirmishing, its compact design minimising interference with barricades, obstructions and his tactical gear.
Moving towards the receiver we find our first splash of colour. Both the Gate Eon HOP-up unit and Gate Nova Trigger are violet, exclusively coloured for Bolster Armouries! You might be wondering how Mike got his hands on these premier parts, well the truth is, he didn't. The Bolster Armouries team took Mike's Krytac CRB-M MK II and completely revamped the internals. He was certainly blessed by Bolster, as his Krytac now features identical internals to the premium Bolster Armouries ONYX SBR. Some notable enhancements are the Prometheus 6.03mm EG Inner Barrel, Gate EON CNC HOP-up Chamber (VIOLET) and the Warhead Industries CNC Ultra High speed (M) Motor 36k RPM. If you have no idea what all of this means, don't worry, just know that the parts sound fancy and premium because they most definitely are!

Moving back to Mike's rifle setup, we find his magazine of choice, the PTS Syndicate EPM-1. This spring-fed magazine holds a monstrous 250 BBs and features a mock 'Fuel Gauge Window' that allows you to see the approximate capacity remaining in the Mag. This magazine is considered one of the world's best, and therefore Mike has diligently selected it as worthy enough to feed his Rifle's voracious hunger for BBs.
Mike leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to his choice of magnifier and scope, both rocking the Vortex logo. Enthusiasts will instantly recognise this as the quintessential optic brand, known for its high-quality line of products and their lifetime warranty. Mike has selected the Vortex Micro 3x Magnifier and Vortex STRIKEFIRE II Red/Green Dot Sight to sit atop his 20mm Picatinny railed receiver. The STRIKEFIRE is perfect for fast target acquisition and the flip-up magnifier pairs well for longer range engagements. Mike's Vortex combination enables domination at any distance!
Finally arriving at the rear of Mike's custom Krytac, we find a genuine Magpul CTR stock. This Mil-Spec stock is an aftermarket replacement designed for light, fast action, with a streamlined A-frame profile that minimises snagging and shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. Certainly a must-have stock for serious skirmishers like Mike, and it finishes the covert tactical look of this completely customised Krytac. Hidden within this stock and buffer tube is a battery compartment. For this overpowering platform, Mike uses an 11.1V 1300mAH Buffer tube Stick battery as it supplies his illustrious internals with the energy they require to dominate a skirmish field.
And that concludes our in-depth tour of Mike's pristine primary! As you can tell, Mike has some expensive tastes, but these lavish enhancements are not in vain. The premium internals make every shot feel rewarding, and the extravagant external attachments ensure Mike's accuracy is surgical when engaging adversaries during his operations.
